We are going to Cornwall for a few days (in November) as we don't have the funds. We have asked our guests for Thomas Cook vouchers so we can have a honeymoon next year (for our 1st anniversary). For us the honeymoon is not really important its the actual getting married.

We're not. We get married at the end of November, and DD has just turned 2, so this year will be the first year that she will have real understanding of Xmas, decorating the tree, presents etc etc, and I couldn't not be here to share that with her.

We're not, tho I wish we were! We cant afford it straight away. I think we are going to start saving up right after the wedding, and df is going to ask his mum if she will have the kids for us in the summer, we will stay in this country but go on a 4 day break or something
