Hiya... sorry to gate-crash....but thought I may be of help (or not!!)  when I organised my best friends hen-night, which was to a Robin Hood themed event in Nottingham, I just asked everyone else to chuck in a tenner (or whatever they could afford) extra - that covered her ticket and all her drinks.... not one person refused .... and any pennies left over were given to her chosen charity (I think there was about £6 left) I don't think it's up to you to actually pay for her - but I do think the 'hen party' as a whole should.  I think I spent about £4.00 at my hen night (soooo drunk can't remember) and that was towards something but can't remember what

I think usually the hen is supposed to have a free night but I personally wouldn't be able to accept that .   If you're having money probs then run it past her as to what sort of night she would like as she would probably be more than willing to chip in if it meant you all had a good time x
