I'm from Scotland and got married in a Baptist church.  We had to fill out a form at the registry office for the licence and I think that there might even be a fee.  I would go to your local registry office and speak to them.

Well, I'm from Ireland & RC and here the Priest does all the legal bits so we never see/speak to the registrar, but in England it appears you have to do it yourself. Can you contact your Priest and double check?

Right I really need some help PLEASE.

I live in Scotland and getting married in Scotland. I'm getting married in a church (Church of Scotland). Do I still give notice to a registrar, and when is this done? And how do I do it? Any idea how much this costs? Arrrgggghhhhhh I'm so clueless.
