Hi, Congratulations! You could have a late wedding, say about 4pm, then by the time the ceremony is finished and you've had your photos, it will be time for the evening do and buffett anyway. Alternatively, people could go back home and come back again later, that's what's happening at my wedding. Or you could have a sit down buffett which you could all eat after the wedding and photos and then you could have disco later on. The decision's yours basically!

Im new to this part of bounty, me and df are going to set a date for next year to get married, we want something small and really basic as either of us like attention, were thinking of just getting married in a registery office then having a do in the evening at a hotel with buffet, what do u do with urself between the wedding and evening do? we have about 45 people to invite which includes 7 kids, anyone else getting maarried in registery office and could give me some tips on where to start, were going to see someone at registery office next week or week after depending when df can get some time off work.

I got married on 20th September in a registry office as i didnt want anything too big either!
We had 60 guests and then we had a meal in a small, local family run restaurant, then we had a HUGE evening do with 170 guests.
We got married at 11am, had photos starting eating around 1pm, left the restaurant at 5pm and me, dh and the kids went and had some photos on the beach and then went to our evening do at 7pm. It was lovely so relaxed and everyone loved the fact they could go home get changed etc before the evening.
Whatever you decide to do i'm sure it'll be perfect xxx
