I'm around as size 8-10 and am having a size 12 - so it even happens to us skinnys too!

Try not to worry about it as at the end of the day you'll look better for having a lovely dress fitted to you.  I've also been told it's easier to have it taken in than let out.

i dont know what size ,mine will be as its being made but dont worry about the size,no one will know,plus as long as it looks good and fits wel thats all that matters!its only a number!

It all depends on the style of dress aswell and the shape of your body, my sister is a 16/18 but is quite hippy so her bridesmaid dress is a 26,, my friend wears 28/30 clothes and her dress is a 30, but she's the same all over iykwim,  we went for our 2nd last fitting yesterday and they both actually need alot taken in round the boobs, but they both look fab.  Dont let the size bother you, I bet you will look like a princess xx

yeah same here my dress was a size 18 and i had to slim down to a size 14 for it to fit properly. all designer wedding dresses are the same.

I'm a 12-14 normal clothes, but my dress is a 16, I couldnt zip the 14 up past my ribs!!!

They do come up smaller, so dont worry hun!!!

I was a 12-14 and had an unaltered size 18 dress!

Don't worry about it chick, wedding dresses really are made smaller. I have gone up a size in mine and its always better to order up and get it taken in then it is to try and let a dress out. I'm a 12 and have ordered a 14, which will get taken in to fit me. Remember we are all different so the dresses are made to fit a 'standard' as such and then adjusted to suit our individual needs.

Please don't be upset, you will look amazing and it will get pulled in to all the right places to it fits you. xx

hi went to get messured for my dress today was so excited but now i'm so gutted i'm a size 18/20 and they doing my dress as a size 24 i'm so so upset.
