I had no change when I had physio
Don't know whats going on with my hospital at the moment. My physio rang me today and I have been given an appointment for the morning but this is about my crutches not my bum. Then I come home from work to a letter changing my appointment for the pain clinic again to aug. I should have the 1st appointment from Feb so thats made me fed up.There is nothing on tv as well

Hi my sister has ibs and she ha to run to the loo and it is soft but she only gets this if she eats stuff she knows will upset her ibs. But she has no prob holding on and she has no kids. I went to Nottingham city hospital for mine so hope your test don'ttake as long. No body at work realy knows about my prob and don't realy like to talk about it so they must think I'm mad keep going to the loo. Take care.

got to go to manxhest royal infirmary and warrington hospital but not sure which test in which hospital. I also think I have got IBS, because I seem to be loose everytime I go to the loo (TMI)

Think I was in about 1 hour all together. No they where not painful couldn't feel it very much but that was prob coz so weak. She put one tube in and then put another one in but did think she would take the other one out but she didn't. It wasn't nice when she inflated the ballon but more because it made me think I was going to have a poo. She did the ultrasound right after which didn't take to long. she was very good and told me everything what she was going to do not like some docs who don't. Do you know what hospital you have got to go to?

Are the tests painful or just uncomfortable? and do they take long?

I have had them done. They are not to bad. I had mine done at the same hospital appoinment by the same woman. The waiting list where I am is 9 months as not many hospitals do the test. Think she said she covered 5 countys and she was the only one that did it. Hope the waiting times where you are, are not as long. Take care.

got examined again and he could not see any abvious damage, have got to go for 2 tests at 2 different hospitals. I have got to have pressure tests and an ultra sound. I hope the appointments come quick.

They would pay to go private as they have the money we just have to poo our pants.

we should tell them to walk around with pads on and let themselves poo their pants - see how they like it!

When I went to see the surgen last year he said to me why don't I wear pads. I was 25 when had ds and it all started and there is no way I am going to walk around with big poo pants on. Thats just made me think how long I have been waiting as I am now 27.
We shouldn't have to put up with this and be like a 90 year old.

he he, kids have a great way of embarrasing you! the physio told me to wear a pad and try to hold it then it wouldnt matter if i had an accident - i'm sorry but even if i'm at home i don't want to poo myself - i'm only 32 for gods sake and being incontinent is the last thing i want

with your appointment next Thur. I know when I went to physio she told me to sit next to the loo and see how long I could wait then stand but the door etc but I had it all on just getting there on time. At least my ds understands. This morning I had to go and told ds that mummy needs a poo he said to me "run mummy its coming" Think its because I have always said to him that mummy's going for a poo poo right now as it comes when it wants like yours. Just hope he don't come out with that if we are out.2/5/08 22:09
I am sorry to hear your physio is not going well, I have tried to hold it in and have never had any luck and have had accidents because I was not quick enough to get to the toilet. The only time I am ok is when I am constipated, I am also suffering from bad wind at the mo (TMI) and I am nervous cos I am back in work next week, I think it is my nerves getting the better of me cos I am back in work after 9 months off. I have got my hospital appointment next thursday so I will let you all know how it goes.

i think i might see my consultant and tell him i'm not happy with how things are going, i cant believe this isnt being treated as a real problem, i bet it would be if it was happening to her, this morning i tried doing what she said and holding it and i nearly had an accident so clearly its not in my head

They wouldn't have sent you if there wasn't a prob. Did she do some bio feedback to see how strong you are? This should prove to her as it shows on the screen like a heart monitor how strong you are. It's hard enough to come forward with this prob then for them to say its all in your head. I do think more about it now but thats only because I know I will poo myself if I don't get there in time not that if I think about it I will do it. Is there anyway you could change to a diff pysio or talk to the doc and see. She must have your notes which show what your prob is. Hope your next one is better.
this whole thing is just a pain - why cant they just do something about our problem without all this messing about x
