had another physio appointment today, i really feel like they are not taking me seriously - the woman seems to think its all in my head and if i stop thinking about getting to the loo it will cure itself - i'm not being funny but has she ever pood herself! she just doesnt seem to think this is a genuine problem and its really upsetting me

Sorry they messed up with your appointment. Yes you can have one with out the other as my bladder is fine its just my bowel. My first appointment was about 1 hour. Still not had my mri results yet but at least june is getting closer for my appointment.

Going back to work will be hard for the first few weeks but it will get better and I have found even though I don't have much warning when I need to go I do tend to go early morning before work.

well what a farse my physio appointment was - first of all she said i will have to go back next week as the receptionist hasnt booked enough time in for me - then she started going on about bladder weakness, when i explained my bladder was fine and it was just my bowels that i was suffering with she didnt believe me and said i cant have one without the other! also she said that i should leave 18 months in between having babies to give my body chance to recover but then proceeded to tell me i might not want to wait that long as at my age (32) time is against me - how cheeky is that! anyway, i've got to go on monday again for a proper exercise plan, also went to the consultant today and asked him how this will affect me if i have another baby - he said if it doesnt get better i will have to have surgery but not until ive finished having a family and due to the weakness and severity of my tear last time i will probably have to have a c-section

Hi how are we doing? If its your 1st appointment at the hosp they prob wont do any proper tests. They will prob do the dreaded fingers like every doc likes to do and I had a long thin tube like a camera put up but just to look just inside. I then had to wait to have the proper camera etc. Good luck with you appointment. Take care to you both.

I was all ready to phone today when the postman delivered me a letter from the hospital, I could of got an appointment for tomorrow but I could not make it so I am going on the 8 May.  I am so relived yet really nervous about it, not sure what to expect whether they are going to do tests then or if I am going to have to go back another day.  I have had to get the day off work to go cos it is at 3.

I haven't been to bad no pains but still can't hold anything in. Hope you get an appointment soon. Let us know how you get on when you ring.

How are we all today and our bowels?? I am getting fed up now, have still not received an appointment to get tests done.  My doctor has advised me to phone the hospital to ask them what is going on and if I have been referred.  Which would be worrying if they havent after thay said I would be.  I am also convinced I might have IBS as I am constipated or too loose (sorry TMI).

Hi, thats the best thing is to write down what you want to ask as you always think of something later. The appointments take ages to come through as my first appointment was 2 years ago and still not sorted. I had a copy of a letter that was sent to my docs from the hospital saying they where doing the mri to test to see if I had a cyst or ms. Hope they do come back ok. Good luck with your physio and hope it all gose ok.

Hi sorry didn't get back to you before. It went ok didn't like the sound as made a lot of noise even with ear plugs. They scaned my brain first so had my head suck in a frame. Then they pulled me out and did the rest of me but still went in head first so wasn't nice as not much room. Was in the scanner for 1hour. Should get my results in a couple of  weeks. Don't know what to think as when she pulled me out to change things for the other scan she rubbed my arm. Prob nothing but makes you think why.

How are you all doing? My pains have gone now.
