hi
you should mention it to health visitor or doctor who will refer you to urologist.I went last year and she done an internal to make sure that I was doing exercises right and gave me a fluid intake chart to fill in for 4 days and take back at my next app which was last week.chart was bit of pain cos you had to measure your wee

she has now giving me some vaginal cones to try.havent used em yet but will do this week.
If you dont want to do that then just get the cones yourself she told me you can get them from boots.

Hi, I have problems with leaking and wetting myself, am really embarressed about this, I do my pelvic floors which seem great apart from the wee hole (soz not sure on correct term for it) when i do pelvic floor exercises that hole doesnt seem to do anything at all. I cant stop weeing mid flow. As soon as i feel the need to go the loo i have to go other wise i wet myself. If i laugh or cough or sneeze i sometimes leak. What should I do to sort this out. I am only 30. any advice welcome.

Hi, Like you I am only young - 29 yrs, after having my two children I suffered from leaking when I coughed / snezzed and exercised. I also need to rush to the loo alot. I tried ding my pelvic floor exercises, hiring and even buying various machines that were supposed to help tome the pelvic floor muscles but nothing helped. I was so upset about things I finally went to see my GP, although this was very difficult to do he was very understanding and refered me to the hospital. After some more tests - again the were quite embarasing (and physio which also didn't work !) I have now had a TVT sling operation. It has been the best thing I have done and wish I had plucked up the courage to go to the GP sooner. The op was a day case, relatively easy and pain free ! The only thing was you can't lift anything for 6 weeks which is difficult when you have young children ! But I would urge you to go to your GP and talk to them about it - it reall is worth it. I now do not have any problems leaking and can even use my trampette that has been redundant for the past 18 months lol !!! Good luck
