Hi it's everycloud here.
Just had my initial consultation with the gynae doc im booked in for urodynamics on the 13th and my op is being scheduled for between 3 and 6 months time although im on the short notice waiting list so could be sooner.
Thats quite scary when you think about it!
Speedy work from the NHS!

Please don't be nervous hon. I got myself into a rght old state about it all and seriously it wasn't worth it. The urodynamics were a doddle and I was making myself feel sick just thinkng about them. I was shaking when I went in and the ladies were so nice and there was nothing awful about it at all. Sounds fair worse than it was. Then when I got into hospital I didn't sleep the whole night before the op and spent most of the night sat in the day room getting myself into a right old state and it really wasn't so bad at all. The op itself is pretty straigtforward and as long as you take it easy afterwards and fllow everything they tell you to do/not to do you should be just fine. Please don't worry though, seriously, I wouldn't lie to you!! lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thankyou for your reply. My GP said it is not worth seeing a physiotherapist as it is so clearly prolapsed
so have been refered straight to the consultant, appointments here come through within 5 weeks so hoping to be seen by the end of August.Iam just very very nervous about it all.

Hiya. It may be different for you but I started off with physio which didn't help and then I had urodynamic studies done and then I had surgery and had a TOT slng fitted which lifts the bladder back into place and acts like your bodies own ligaments. I had my op done in April and the situation is much improved on what it was before. How long before you see a Consultant? x

Hello have any ladies on here been told they have a front wall prolapse (where your bladder is coming through your vaginal wall) and as such have stress and urge incontinence?
Is it possible if anyone can talk me through what happens after the GP referal please? My GP has spoken to me about retraining my bladder and also a strong possibility of surgical repair.
Thankyou.

btw im booked in for TVT
