I've just posted a similar letter. I've had a uterine prolapse just after birth. They tried fitting me with a ring which has now been removed as was unable to pee which was agony.
Have been told to do pelvic floor exercises, but a few different doctors (have seen many) have mentioned the removal of my womb being an option. My second son's only just two weeks old, so it's not something I've wanted to think about. Think my virginal wall may be colapsing as well, but not sure as i might just be getting myself into a state.
I noticed your mail was a couple of months ago, so wondered if it's all improved now?

Hun,
I really sympathise with you, my DD is 15wks now and I suffered a mild prolapse of my bladder. No incontinence of any kind, but a lump inside where there shouldn't be one! Saw my GP at 6 weeks, who had quick look and basically said same as yours, that it wasn't severe and that pelvic floor exercises should rectify it. HOWEVER, it's gradually got worse, and i've only had sex with my husband 3 times since dd was born. The other night we were trying again and it hurt me so much I cried, and when I looked, I had another lump (purple in colour) and everything looked all swollen and 'closed up' iykwim ?? (sorry if TMI). Anyway, after talking to my hubby and my mum, we've decided to go back to GP (this Friday) to get checked again and ask for a referral to someone that knows whats going on!! I'm very nervous but i've got to get it sorted as it's getting me down and I want to get back to normal, especially with my husband! Sorry I can't solve your problem hun but thought you should know you're not alone. Lets hope we both get fixed!! x (i'll let you know outcome of GP visit if you want?) x

Crikey. Didn't want to read and run. Haven't any experience of this but what you're describing doesn't sound right to me. Have you done any research on web? Hope some of the other ladies can help. Have you seen your gp?
Hugs

did anyone else prolaps after the birth of there baby and what infomation was they given
i had a slight prolaps after my 1st son then while pregnant this time round i had another small one i went to the docs and was basically told there not that bad you can live with them exspect to have surgery when your older but not now as youe to young im 22
she also said its unfortunate to happen to someone of my age but they wont do anything about it.
so less than 8 hours after giving birth i went to the loo and got a huge bulging out of my loo loo midwifes rushed me back to the labour sweet and i got told my cervix had prolapsed and was now hanging out of me,but it does go in and out of its own acord
i was told that it will stop popping out less frequintly and will get better to some extent but it wont get any worse than it is, but untill 3 months is up they cant do anything about it. anyway it seemed to get better but after a week it came down again and hasnt gone back up its now just hanging there so it is infact getting worse, i keep getting told they wont do anythingabout it so i havnt botherd going back even though its getting worse
did anything like this happen to anyone else?

hi,
ive just had my dd two days ago and today had to call the midwife out because something was hanging out of me. she said its either a prolapsed cerix or vaginal wall. all she did was push it back in and told me to do pelvic floor exercises!
it goes back in whn i sit down but the min i stand up in comes back out. its horrible!
