Hiya Frieds, thought it was about time we all moved over from TTC as we've now all got our BFP's and it's not right been in TTC anymore.

Hope you all find me over here, cos I'm on my own at the mo and I can just imagine you all still over in TTC without me. Boo,hoo.

Well, 24wks today for me, can't believe that I finish work in 5 weeks, can't wait!!!!  The week I finish we are going away to my Dad's caravan on the East Coast for the week so it'll be nice to chill out and a chance to get my feet up for a few days whilst Darren runs around after Tom.

Ruth, I think you should tell Chris' mum that you don't think it's a good idea to come up that week and that you're heads will be all over the place and it's a special time for Chris and yourself.  You don't know how you'll feel when you go into labour and would feel embarassed if they were there.  Could you suggest to them that they come up and "help out" with the baby once you've had her.  This way you get to have a bit of a helping hand and they get to see their new grandaughter as well.  Ask them if they want to come up for about 4 days.

Be honest with them, they won't mind the honesty.  I'm sure they would feel better knowing that you were happy.

Hope you all find me soon.

ahhh Lynn (((((hug))))  you have it in wars,  hope thats the end of it for you........

WEel ive been to mw today and i was hoping baby was going to be engaged due to pains i had but she said its only at brim.....  she has plotted my measurements out that and am right at the top for avg...  she said baby felt chunky so i reckon am looking at 8lb+   my bloody pressure and pluse has gone up slightly so she took my blood she said its nothing to be majorily worried about but think iron might be low so she said she would phone me once results were in if it was,  other than that i see her in 2 weeks....  she also mentioned she thinks baby is back to back at min so she gave me sheet of positions to sit in etc to encourage baby to move and come down more...

This afternoon went for a nice walk national trust park with gran and grandpa so that might have helped baby

Hope every one else is well,  take care,  Hannah 37 weeks today x x

    Hi allll,

i'm back and i'm very sorry for my absence - hanging head in shame.  Did try and get on but was on crappy laptop and managed to get on facebook briefly before it crashed - sorry feel very guilty.

well....it's all fun isn't it!!! Harry is very good really but does have the odd crying fit esp in evenings - have tried infacol this evening and better.  But i suppose you want to hear the gorey details....ok

my birth story by Vikk Walker.

(intro.....like a black and white detective film)

It was 2.30 on the 1st of Oct.  I was in bed.... it was warm when............dum dum daaaaaa (dramatic music) my waters broke.  Just a trickle so the next morning i rang the hospital - and went in.  It was confirmed........the membrance was ruptured..but not much and from then on what a flippin farce.

Had some contractions but not much really but they were mega painful.  Went back at 3ish on thursday for monitoring and then they kept me in for induction.  Eventually got round to inducing me at 4.30am fri cos they were so busy.  And thats where the fun began.  By about lunchtime, nothing was going anywhere.  Was having mega painful conrtactions - at one point they had cranked up inductions agent sooo much that was just one long never ending contraction - fun NOT.  then by midwife no. 4 i was 3 cm dilated and was given an epidural cos couldn't take the pain - have to point out that Harry was OP (back to back) and was cruching my spine and inside during every contraction.  By midwife no. 5 - it was early evening and still nothing.  Nice Mr doc man said at 7.30pm that if still nothing by 10.30ish they would operate.  Got to 10.30.......still nothing but........ nice Mr doc man had gone off shift and evil Ms doc lady was on shift and wanted to leave it a bit longer.  Also bear in mind i am now in my 4th bag of agent and have been in labour for over 48hrs - lovely.  Then by 2am sat, i actually got to 10cm dilated and it was time to push.  Well that didn't go anywhere.  Had this fab west indian midwife and she was greatl;y encouraging but was clear that he was not coming out.  So at 3.30ish they had to rush me in for 'urgent/emergency' c-section.  Harry was so stuck that the stupid doctor lady had to call her boss cheif surgeon chappy to help pull him out cos his head was lodged in my pelvis.  Porr little man.  Saying that tho, he looked perfect - wasn't scrunched up or red or winkled looked like a week old baby.

so....here we are now.  I'm going potty cos i can't drive for another 3 weeks or iron, hoover....any of the fun stuff.  Harry is very cute and getting for alert every day - it's amazing how much he change on a daily basis.  He is now staring to be more awake and play after feeds and already holds his head up if you hold him over your shoulder.  He is freakishly strong for a not quite  3 week old.  At his 10 day weight check he had gone from 8lb 110z at birth to 9lb 3oz and seems to get bigger each day.  not sure what is on my milk but think must be miracle grow.

he was sleeping through from 11-4 at night but last night and night before had a blip and woke up hungry and playful at 1amish - hopeing that tonight will be back to 'normal' cos not liking the 1am feeds esp as he still demands his 4am feed then goes back to sleep.  Last night PJ actaully got up and di some work cos Harry was wide awak after 1am feed.  We have been playing all evening tonight and making him as tired as possible - hahahaha evil parents.  Also uped feeds to every two hours to cluster feed in vain hope that this will fool him.  ill keep you posted.

Right, it's nearly bed time so i'm going to love you and leave you.  Will catch up on all that i ahve missed and return soon i promise.

    Love and hugs to everyon

Hiya folks, can't believe that your 36 weeks Hannah.  It doesn't seem two minutes since you were telling us that you were pregnant and even sooner that you were telling us that you had 10 weeks to work.  How crazy is it that time flies so fast.

What are they getting you from work, do you know?  Are you going back to work once you've had the baby?

Molly is 12 weeks already.  Tonight is her first night in her own bedroom.  Don't think it helps her sleeping in our bedroom as we are waking her up when we come to bed and when we have to get up for the loo.

Awww, Lynne you are in the wars aren't you.  Hope your feeling better soon hun.  How's Isla doing, is she still a good sleeper?  How much does she weigh now?  I had Molly weighed last week and she weighed 11lb 11oz, bless!!!!  She must have heard the Health Visitor telling me that she was a little underweight cos since then she's done nothing but drink milk!!!!!!

Vicki, where the hell are you!!!!  I've seen that you're out and about on facebook but you don't seem to have managed to come on here and tell us that you've had your baby yet.....boo hoo, you're going to make us all sad cos you don't want to be our frieds anymore!!!!!!

Ruth, how's it going with Emily now, is she a little pleasure?

Catherine, how that little beauty of yours coming on?  Is she up and running yet?? LOL.  How old was Laila when you took her out of the cocoon and put her in the seat underneath cos Molly is foot to head now and there's no room for her to grow any.  Can't believe that they say it's for upto 6 months.....what for a baby doll.

    xxx

well chicks, cat taylor was walking at 9 months it was funny to see this little thing walking about.

well i had a sore leg on saturday and it was slightly swollen, so went to docs today and was sent o casualty with suspected DVT i was crying and everything he said that being pregnant and after baby is born we are still at risk from DVT which i could not believe so spent all day in hosptial getting bloods done and scan with the large blood pressure cuff round thigh and my blood levels came back clear and my scan was clear too so they were quite happy although gave me sheet to look out for more symtpons so what a nightmare, i have came home and resting and my leg is ok but my wrist is killing me have got hot water bottle on it i am falling apart guys i need some love.

well better go as going to bed to watch some tv and get cuddles from hubby.

    Afternoon ladies.......

Well last night at the bab shower was lovely ,  had gifts bought for both me and the baby,  which was nice,  amongst many of the pressies from my mum was a "my thoughts" not book which thought was lovely for me to get all thoughts down about preganancy and baby....  we all had to drink from baby cups or bottles and played games and if lost of didnt take part we had to drink from a potty or go sit on naughty step (didnt have long enough for some to do a minute per year of age though lol) was good night....  they did sweep stake on sex and weight of baby as well people guessed from 7lb 6oz to 9lb ...  we will see lol......  they say the next one is wetting babies head

Well afternoon my sickness i feel lots better and sooooooo many people have said its sign i will be early lol... so again we see...... am still prepared to go two weeks over but i do have a feeling i might not and need to prepare for that ... i.e pack my bag lol... i really want to have baby in nov as if they do let me go full 2 weeks over then it will be into early dec.... but baby will come when babies ready

Last week at work this week woohoo... and only in office 2 days ( wed and fri)

    Take care all... H... x

    hey all,

yeh clagger isla is taking about 5 oz too but she goes down between 10 ans 11pm and thats her to roughly 8am its brilliant so we have a little gem, i deffo put down to the help of the sleeping bag though. she is 7 and 1/2 weeks scott health visitor weighed her yesterday and she was 10lb 3oz what weight is molly.

vicky i cant weight until you come on and let us all know as i cant get into face book so come on quick once you got yourself and baby harry sorted.

cat - loads of blue babydust coming your way chick i would like another one too but not the now will have to wait and see hopefully my body does not go haywire when the period comes although i think i had a slight one at 6 weeks which i am 5-6 weeks between periods, but my body took major hormone drops when periods came and i did not want to leave the house and all and did not realise that i could have had hormone jags, but will deffo look out for that this time and have to go straight to health visitor my fingers are crossed for you and her is the blue dust xxxxx

ruth long time no speak hope you are doing ok with taylor we used teething crystals from holland and barrett it was white tube with pink and blue stripe on and the make is New Era they were fantastic again herbal too we tried them out and you could feel the gum slightly numb our health visitor advised us you just keep putting crystals in mouth until there body builds up with the herbal and will discard if too much iykwim xxxx

hannah, clagger is right where is that light at the end of the tunnel, it will be coming soon chick and as she said hopefully you dont go over and this was painful for me as taylor was 4 days early and isla 3 days late and it was torture i used ball too and it helped with the gravity and all take care chick xxxx

well not much for me post natal went fine will see HV in couple of weeks for isla 1st jags not much else to report might be going to haven for couple of nights for a little break will wait and see, catch up with you all later chicks xxx

    Helllloooooo theeerrrree.

Congratulations Vicki on the birth of Harry, hope everything is okay with you all.  You best come on soon and let us know how things went or I'll be coming down personally to get the questions we want answering. LMAO.  Oh, and, happy birthday for tomorrow Vicki.

Things are all hunky dorey at my end, it's Darren's birthday today so I'm not allowed to do anything....which suits me well.  Molly is sleeping quite well now, she loves going to bed on a night, at first I didn't know what was wrong with her.  She was crying her little heart out and as soon as I put her in the bedroom which was dark and quiet she stopped crying and fell straight to sleep.  Bless.  Last night she slept from 7.30 till 3.45 and then went straight back down again.  Can certainly cope with that.

Well Catherine, I can't believe your going alone on #3, your not waiting for me this time....How Rude!!!! LOL.  I can't stop thinking about having another baby (blows) blue at ya hun.  Do you think you think that you would have had 3 if you'd have had a boy and a girl now?  People keep telling me that I don't need to have anymore cos I've got 1 of each but I want more.  Loved the pregnancy bit (I know you hated it though hun).

Hannah, bet your fed up of hearing "not long now" aren't you?  It doesn't help does it.  I have to say the last few weeks are the longest part of the pregnancy, they drag on something cronic.  Hopefully you won't go over.  Are you getting your body prepared?  Have you got a birthing ball and are you taking anything (raspberry leaf or owt like that)

Ruth, how's things with you now hun, is things getting a bit easier for you now?  With regards to the teething I used the powder sachets that you pour into their mouths they are herbal ones called Teethers.  Got them from Bodycare and don't cost that much but they worked with Tom cos you can still give them calpol alongside them.

Lynne, sounds like Isla is a right little sleeper, can't believe you've got one that sleeps through already....you jammy beggar.  How much is she taking on each feed then?  Molly is 11 weeks and is still only having 5oz at each feed, unless it's Darren that's feeding her and she'll only take 3oz for some reason.  Bit of a standing joke now in our house.

With regards to the meet up best thing is to see what radius people are prepared to travel to and then work out where we can meet up.....and yes Catherine I'll come and pick you and your brood up and drive you.....you and your bloody motorways!!! Bless ya.  I think it would be great to all meet up, after all we know each other inside and out now....literally!!!! LMAO.

Right best go cos my mum has just turned up.

Speak sooner than last time. xxxx
