Hiya Frieds, thought it was about time we all moved over from TTC as we've now all got our BFP's and it's not right been in TTC anymore.

Hope you all find me over here, cos I'm on my own at the mo and I can just imagine you all still over in TTC without me. Boo,hoo.

Well, 24wks today for me, can't believe that I finish work in 5 weeks, can't wait!!!!  The week I finish we are going away to my Dad's caravan on the East Coast for the week so it'll be nice to chill out and a chance to get my feet up for a few days whilst Darren runs around after Tom.

Ruth, I think you should tell Chris' mum that you don't think it's a good idea to come up that week and that you're heads will be all over the place and it's a special time for Chris and yourself.  You don't know how you'll feel when you go into labour and would feel embarassed if they were there.  Could you suggest to them that they come up and "help out" with the baby once you've had her.  This way you get to have a bit of a helping hand and they get to see their new grandaughter as well.  Ask them if they want to come up for about 4 days.

Be honest with them, they won't mind the honesty.  I'm sure they would feel better knowing that you were happy.

Hope you all find me soon.

    hey everyone,

just a quickie for me as the minx is stirring!!!  bless her!!!!

han - i piled on the weight!  will def be much more careful if we have a 2nd baby!!!!  i was around 11 and a half stone at conception and the day before she arrived i weighed myself and i'd topped the 16 stone mark!!!  s***io!!!!!!!!!  saying that alot of it was water weight and 6 week later i'm now down to around the 13 and a half stone mark.  still got 2 stone to shift then and 3 stone to shift to get back to wedding day weight.  joining weight watchers next thurs - wish me luck!!!!

yeah - am breast feeding during the day then giving her sma after around 10pm at nioght.  if she wakles in the night i'll give her sma again - unlessit's after say 6am when i'll just bfeed her myself.  it works for us in that the sma knocks her out flat for a good few hours.  bfeeding her means that she wants a feed every 2 hours so sleep is non existant basically if i tried to feed heer myself through the night - think i'd go mad actually cos of lack of sleepif we did that.  last night we gave her sma at 11:15 - got her winded and burped and she was flat out by midnight - then slept til 6am - which might not sound that great now but belive me - 6 hours kip works wonders for your frazzled head!!!  lol!!!

right - best fly ads she's winging like hell and think is about to explode into a full on paddy!  haha!!!!!

    laters frieds!  hope everyoneis well!!!!

Hannah - poor you re headaches.  Is is 11 weeks to go for you then?  As someone said earlier (Vick?) remember to drink loads andloads of water as the warm weather at the moment will really dehydrate you.  hope you're feeling better soon - not long to go - the weeks will fly by - promise.

and last but certainly not least - Cat - how was your birthday hunny?  did you get up to much?  Am loving the pics of Laila and Jasmine on your facebook btw!!  Gorgeous!!!  OMG - also - how cute is your labradoodle??!!!  What's his name?!  loving him!!  Want a cuddle now!  he;'s like a little fluffy toy!!!  glad you got him toilet trained already thoigh - your house looks far too clean and tidy for a puppy!  Lol!!!!  i remember when my friend Joelle for a lab pub a ouplke of years ago - he was like one of them andrex pups and was sooooo cute - but then used to crap everywhere all over their cream living room carpet!!!  He looked so innocent though whilst he was doing it they couldnt be cross!!  Hes huge now though - but still gorgeous!  Their baby is due 31st August so another baby on the way!  She finishes work in 4 weeks - cant wait as we'll be able to be 'ladies who lunch' Haha!

Oh - is anyone watching BB9 btw?!  ((I know you are Cat - have read your comments on facebook - bless!)) - who will go on Friday?  Who do you reckon?  i'm going to have to sky+ is (sad i know!) as we're off to my parents for the weekend as my broither and his gfriend are over from HKong for a week to meet Emily.  Cant waitr to see him - haven'y seen him since Xmas - December 2006 - thats before i met you guys!!!!!!  mental or what!!!

Anyhow - frieds - the minx has awoken so best get off and do what 'mammy the milking machine' does best!!!!!

    hugs,

    Morning Frieds!!!

    Hannah - Im here!!!  lol!!!!

Hope everyone is well.  haven't been on for a bit - no excuses really other than life is still a tad mad at the moment.  Loving it though!  Am finally getting to grips with breast feeding - though we do pump her full of SMA after 10pm to make her zonked for a few hours through the night - then we get kip too - happy mummy happy baby and all that!  Had horrensous nights this last week or so but then last night she went off at 1am after her SMA and slept till almost 7 - which was amazing!!!!  Yay!!  Cant believe she';s over 6 weeks old now!!!  Time is flying!!!!

right - have read though the most recent posts for a catch up - check me out!!!

claire - OMG!  Where has the time gone!!  You must be 37 weeks or so now eh?  Baby Clag could come anytime now then!!!  I had Ems at 39+1.  V excited for you hunny! Well done for only gaining 1 stone 13lbs!!!!  Thats brilliant!  I've got my 6 week check at the gp tomorrow afternoon then am going to join ww next thursday.  Going to try to get back into  the10 stone region by xmas - have 6 months to shed 3 stone...reckon its do-able?!  bless you and your clean house - fancy coming to do mine?  its a sea of washing, ironing and crap at the moment!  Really needs a good hoover and am not evn going to get started on the gardens!  They're a right sight!!!  Lol!!!!!

Lynne - only 8 weeks left for you then too!!!!  Gosh - you are going through the mill at the moment aren't you hunny.  Chin up babe.  She's be here in no time.  Glad the baby's sizing about right for you.  I had niggly period type pains all the way through my 3rd trimester - reckon it was the weight of the baby squishing up everything.  I too had no sleep in the 3rd trimester - bless you - its crap isnt it.  Try to grab any sleep you can hun - though i appreciate it is easier said than done with a toddler.  Hugs x

Vick - 12 weeks left?  Is that right?!  am not surprised you're tired - as soon as i hit the 3rd trimester it was like 'bam' - nackered all the time!!  Its your body reserving energy for the big day - well thats what my mam said!!  Lol!  well done on your little gain too!  Mine was massive - cant shift it quick enough!  If i do it again will defo watch my weight a bit more!!!  glad you srted out the nursery hun - it makes me smile - Emily has hardly been in there yet!!!  Sge sleep in our room in the moses basket at the moment - sayng that her room is the tidiest room in the house!!  Lol!  dont worry about nasty scary dreams eiother - i had loads.  in fact every night even now she's here i still have odd dreams - but im sort of awake too - i dream shes in my bed under the duvet and is suffocating so i search for her then get really destressed cos i cant find her - then poor chris points out that she's int he basket and i feel like a right clip! x

well i have not worked for a little while that might be me folks the no sleep at night, jumpy legs everynight have to go to sleep sitting up, still sick in the morning, pbuic bone you still dont want to know might end up with crutches and getting tired during the day going for a wee sleep then cant sleep at night its a rollercoaster, simon and taylor painted the nursery today pale pink as the new cot comes mid july so cant believe i am heading for 8 weeks to go it is going in fast thinking in a couple of weeks time is could be anytime.

    afternoon everybody,

Welcome back Clagger - thought we'd lost you.  OMG 4 weeks to go. You must be soo excited now.  I wouldn't be able to wait.  Sounds like you are cleaning for England - be carful in that garden you don't want to over exert yourself - our next door enighbour swears she went into labour 1 week early cos she jumped up and down to switch the smoke alarm off after it was set off by the grill - hehe.

Hiya Han - glad the sickness has died down mow - how many weeks are you? Keep drinking plenty of fluids to try and keep headaches at bay.  Dopler is really exciting - i still use it every now and again if i get parniod.

Hya Lynne - did you have a good time away - hate washing after hols but at least you were able to get it all on the washing line - saves it hanging around the house or in tumble dryer.  Glad your little bubs is measureing up well.  I'm def getting tired and fidgity now - glad it's not just me but an expected milestone - getting pretty sleepy again but can't sit still - have to be doing something.  It must be the nesting instinct coming thru.  Seem to want to cook/bake a lot too - more than i did before - seem to have energy to do it but not sure where it is coming from.

Hiya to Cat and Ruth - hope all is well in camp Smith and Harding.

Nursey is all painted now and ready to go.  We are going to invest in a vax carpet cleaner - figured that rathe then pay a man to clen them, we would but one for less dosh and then could clean when we needed too - we have cream capets so get bit grubby wioth the pets as it is without a sicky baby puking all over the shop - sounds like a good idea to me.

Had a horrid dream the other night that PJ was loking after Baby Walker and then wheni got home and picked him up i did something wrong and he died - it was awful.  Sure it is nutural to panic and have dreams like that.  Told PJ and he hugged me lots and said i would be a good Mummy and that wouldn't happen - made me feel much better.

Only 5 weeks untill i go on hol now - getting very excitied as then i'm only back at work for 2 weeks after that and don't intendt to have much to do.  Handing my job over before i go on hol so can trouble shoot when i get back and then leave - hoorah.  Only down side is that i ahve to write  'Vikki's job for dummies' so there is an insruction sheet for everything i do - not that the peeps taking over a stoopid but they have never had to do it and no-one else can do it expect me.  The prev boss showed me but never wrote nything down anywhere so i have to write lists of jobs and how to do them - most of them are computer based and far too complicated for their own good cos the computer program was also written by pev boss so it;'s not even like they will have used it before - my brain has turned to jelly and my eyes have gone square.

    hi all,

well just back from the weekend break and the weather was absolutely glorious sun lotion and all sat out all weekend, came back and have done all my washing and out on the line great!

well the midwife said with my growth scan i am measuring for what week i should be and that 3lbs is average baby not small and not big taylor was an average baby too she was 7lbs 3oz just with me being heavier this is why i get 2 growth scans so i have on in 3 weeks time at 34 weeks. blood pressure has been ok too midwife took it 3 rimes thought my arm was going to fall off.

well in your baby book at 29 weeks it tells you your abby should weigh 3lbs and this girl of mine weighs 3 lbs at 30 weeks so doing ok so i am in par with book and they work to average baby for you having between 7-8 lb babies, so i am hoping i dont have a 10lb'er

i would need ruth's other 20 stiches????? lol?

well nice to hear from you clagger and vicky you are just approaching another milestone hence with you being tired and fidgety, my sides have been aching a little dont know if my body is stretching outwards and giving me the strain, the midwife on thursday said the baby's head came down and i said i know as my pubic bone you dont want to know the pain could not walk upstairs/downstairs and lift my legs out and in the jeep. so i have physio on wednesday so will let you all know how i get on i cant even get in the bath to chill my bones. sorry to go on but have also felt when she squirms inside i feel like i get hot and flustery (spelling).

well chicks away to sit as taylor at nursery and simon and i are going to chill for a couple fo hours together take care xxxx

Hiya Folks, sorry not been around for a while, don't know where the time goes.  I've been so so busy everyday, which is a good thing cos it's making the weeks fly by.

I've only got 4 weeks on Wednesday left, this pregnancy seems to have gone so so fast.  Been going through the motions of all the things that you do before baby arrives, cleaning like mad and trying to keep the house spotless, gardening (I seem to need everything perfect at the moment) and I'm now going through the constantly showering and getting in the bath.....it's not doing anything for my water meter I can tell you!!!!!

Glad to hear your ok after the birth of Emily, glad you clarified the stitches situation, I was sat here thinking "B;jesus, how big is that lass down below to have 28 stitches"!!! LOL.

What did they say at your last 4D scan then Lynne?  How come you have to have another growth scan, what's all that about then?

Vikki, bet your chuffed that you've finally made a decision on the paint senario, how long did that take!!???? What furniture have you chosen?  This time my bump is all at the front and don't seem to have put any weight on anywhere else, last time with Tom I was like a weeble wobble (bet you don't remember them) I put about 5 stone on but this time I've put on 1stone 13lb so I'm well chuffed with myself.

Hannah, how's the sickness doing?  Has it subsided yet?

Right, gonna go now cos Casualty's on and I can't concentrate properly.

hehe Ruth 8 stitches sounds better - was rather concerned where they had put the other 20.  OOO glad you hve a wedding to go to - we hav a wedding 2 weeks after my due date so glad it's not just me crazy enough to accept an invitation so soon after.  Sure the weight loss will go well you have done well so far - peeps have told me that if you breastfeed the weight falls off you even more.  Have fun at the metro centre - i love it there always used to go to the fun fair when visited my relies in Newcastle.

Hiya Lynne - not long to go - oooo another weekend break -lucky you.  Hope the weather is good for you.  Sure your blood pressure will come down once your mortgage is sorted out - stuff like that always makes you stress.  3lb already - that seems like a good weight.  I wonder how much BW weighs - feels like about 3 kg!! haha.

Hiya to Cat - happy b-day for tom.  Hope your cold has cleared up and your lot are keeping well.

Where has Clagger gone - any news yet???????

Hiya Han too - how are you feeling? anymore sickness?.

well just under 15 weeks to go for me.  Am getting  bit tired again for some reason - was very sleepy and fidgity yesterday - did eat a few choc cookies tho so pos just come down from sugar rush.  Feel huge - have put on about 1.8st (~10kg) but it still all seems to be BW weight and no-where else.  off to see frieds tom for a bbq - she is due in 4 weeks so will be lovely to see them.

right, i'm off - tea break time soon and there's a little choc cake with my name on it - yummy. (prob not helping with the weight gain - eek

    hi all

omg ruth what a story that puts mines with taylor to shame!

well chicks 30 weeks and 1 day today was at midwife and growth scan today and baby measuring for what i should be at this week they told me she weighs 3lbs and good to that week so they have not changed my date thank god! blood pressure was up slightly but not finalised this mortgage of ours it is a nightmare to do when pregnant to many worries and stressies, so midwife checked it 3 times  and was fine with it. so going back in 4 weeks for growth scan to see if baby ok.

just a quickie from me as my pubic bone you would not believe phoning physio tomorrow as sometimes i need someone to lean on and going up and down stairs you dont want to know hoe i do that?

well we are off to haven in ayr on saturday just for the weekend back on monday so looking forward to the break, will catch up with you all on my return.

    Evening all,

OMG Ruth - that sounded awful - agggggg take BW back to the shop now.  why are we doing this again??? Oh yeah, i remember, the cute little baby at the end - Emily is soooooo cute - looked at photos on facebook and she's adorable.  Does sound like you had a bum time tho - still as you say, can't get too much worse next time so at least it hasn't put you off.  Don't think i'l let PJ read it tho - he'll prob faint - he's going to be useless during labour even watching surgical telly programs makes him cough and feel sick.  Ah  Bless you hon, glad you got thru it in the end.  How is Emily doing??? Is she a good little baby? Are you coping with feeding, changing etc - sounds like do much to do at once.

Hiya Han too - only 4 weeks utill can (well prob about 3 now cos i've been away for ages.  Can't believe you are having a yellow bump too - would drive me potty not knowing, don't know how you and Clagger can bear it.  Sorry to hear the sickness has returned - still, mayb it's an isolated sickness event (Iets call it an ISE hehe).  Sounds like you went shopping - and bought half of curry's.  I love buying new kitchen goods - esp new washing mackines - i love my washing machine - sad but true.

Hiya Lynne - how did the 4D scan go - was it amazing? are you def having a little girl?  Sounds like you are busy busy at home so sure thats what headaches are about - i got headaches earlier in preg so also mayb hormonal.  Not long for you either tho - wow it's all getting too exciting.

Hiya Clagger - how you doing.  Hope all going well - have you got that bag packed and ready??

And Cat - how are you feeling hon, see from facebook that you are under the weather.  Hope you feel better soon.

Well, 25 weeks toay - agggg 15 weeks to go.  Still huge - have put on 10kg nearly and it's nowhere else other than on boobs and bump.  Still look exactly the same from behind then turn around and look like have a huge pillow shoved up my jumper.  It's amazing tho.  Loving it.  BW wiggles about quite a lot and enjoys kicking my bladder a bit too much but all going well.  Have blood test in 2 weeks and then midwife app and scan soon too - it's all going on.  just dread to think how big BW will be.  Everyone keeps saying "ooo when are you due?" and when i say 24th Sept they look horrified and ask how many i'm having - haha.

Nursery is all painted and ready for the furniture - looks much brighter cos we used a light refliecive paint so nice and bright and airy.  hopefully will order furniture this weekend.

right, i'm off to beddie-bye soon - am getting quite tired again.

Speak soon - hugs to all

    Last post - promise!

They sat me up and saw my back was soaked with epitudral fluid - the epidural needle had moved and had slipped out!!!  So efverytiime i'd been pressing the button to administer more pain relief it'd just been dripping down my back!  i'd essentiually gone though delivery therefore 'au naturel'!  I was sooooo relieved to hear this - it was of course no one's fault - as i'd been in so much pain that i'd mental said to myself never again - but now i know that if i did it again it couldny be any worse!!!

I had 28 stiches in total - both internally and externally - they are slowly healing though thanks to tea tree oul and lavender oil baths!  I spent 4 nights in hisputal as lost 3 pint sof blood so needed a small transfusion and iron drip and my bp was really low at 63/54 - eek -  then ems got a rash and a temp so they ran lodsa of tests on here - but all was finally well and they let us out...;and the rest is histpiry.  ems was 8lb and 5oz born but went down to 7lbs 2lbs int he first 8 days so we had the mw round twice a day for the first week.  Its been 4 weeks now and i've finally been discharged from the mw and just see the hvisitor now.

So there you have it!  she was born at 5:46pm - so it all lasted exactly 12 hours.  I'd do it again tomorrow as she is such a cherub!

Going to go a feed her now ans she's just woken and is bawling (not so cherub -like now!) but will pop onl later if i can and catch up with everyoen's news.

    Ruthie x
