hiya girls
Kyle is here! born 2nd of september at 10 to midnight!
Very traumatic!
i went in to be monitored on saturday because of babies movements .. had protine in wee, was very swollen and had high blood pressure, that ontop of his static growth made them want to keep me in over night for monitoring. so i thought one night and i would be home, but no such luck, they decided to induce me because my blood pressure kept going up . they used a pessary which failed and the gel which also failed, they kept tryin to make me agree to a c-section because my body seemed way to tolerant of all the drugs and it looked like nothing was going to work! but i was so against it i litteraly begged for another option. i was in tears to the constultant telling him how strong i felt about c-sections. . so that brought us to tuesday where they eventually decided to get a consultant to break my waters and use the hormone drip.
i was given an epidural because the hormone drip causes very very intense contrations, but it failed to work! .. so only used gas and air, they attached a monitor to Kyles head to monitor his heart rate and i was in labour for 9 hours and got to 7cm dilated, i was in agony, really really felt like i had to push so doc checked kyles possition . back to back!!! trying not to push was so hard, definatly the hardest part of my labour.
then it was like the drip stopped working and i was still at 7 cm dilated 3 hours later .. so 12 hours into labour
all the way through my blood pressure went up and up and kyles heart rate kept dropping .. in the end it dropped to many times and i just wasnt progressing so they talked about a c-section which by this time sounded like heaven but they left it 20 mins to see if he moved further into my pelvis or not, but it didnt happen that smoothly,, his heart rate dropped to dramatically, they struggled to pick it up a few times and i had to keep moving possitions to try to stimulate kyles lil heart !! so i was in a panic and then all of a sudden there was like 12 ppl in the room all buzzing around, i had no idea what was going on except my blood pressure was scary high ..some midwife tryed telling me but i couldnt hear her over my own screaming and all i was interested in was the monitor telling me kyles heart rate wasnt picking up. doctor then rushed me into theater with a general anesthetic!! and Kyle was born 11:50pm Tuesday 2nd Sept weighing 6lb and 11 ounces
(so his growth was fine after all) He was blue and floppy and they had to work on him for 4 mins but he is now fine!!
i wont let it put me of having another baby tho but i deffo wont have another induction!!! im healing nicely now too
i have just got home today and im shatterd!! i will get some pics on as soon as i can
ill catch up on readin how u are doin when i get a min
hope your all well and happy

hello,
im sure she's fine in there and like you say, nothing wrong witha little dinky girl is there, Evelyn was only 5lb 15oz, they told me she was 7lb at least!
Rach, there's no denying it, when you BF they are attached to you most of the time! Thats why im getting a sling, so i can sort Evelyn out at the same time, just give it a few weeks, as its always hard at forst and does get easier after a few weeks.
I keep getting BH, its doing mi head in! Feeling increasingly large now and developing a waddle!
Katie, have you had Kyle yet???

Hello
Had mw this morning everything ok except im measuring 3 weeks behind she said its not a problem at the mo but said if im still measuring small in 3 weeks time she will send me for a growth scan she said that there are a few reasons why i could be measuring small 1 baby is back to back with me a 2 cause im having a girl and girls tend to be smaller than boys so im not to worried i would rather have a little tiny baby than a great big 10lb whopper lol got to get the little monkey out lol
hope your all ok any news katie cant wait to hear a birth anouncement from you oh and the birth story lol
take care

hello im well neglecting bounty lately
my baby started school today i cried my eyes out walking back home he didnt bat an eyelid just ran off and started playing with his best friend thank god there in the same class otherwise i dont think he would have been as happy.
not been up to much lately went to see sil and her new baby on sunday i got roped into showing her how to make up bottles and sterilise ect as she had enough of breastfeeding cause she was constantly feeding baby and didnt get any sleep. so now its made me think if i should breastfeed my baby if she is gonna feed constantly i dont know how ill cope with it and 2 other children especially when i have toget ollie to school or pick him up i breasatfed ollie for a week and he just fed constantly so i didnt try with charlie think ill just see how i go Greg is gonna be home for 2 weeks after the birth so ill just see how it goes.
Yesterday I woke up and felt the need to organise lol (NESTING OR WHAT) so i swapped my conservatory which had the dining table and chairs in it and the dining room that was used as a play room so now the conservatory is the play room and dining room is a dining room again lol i was compleatly knackered when i had finished but i feel better now lol
I cant believe were all gonna be due soon its gone so quick
take care everyone xxxx

Morning all.
Ju, I'm hoping to be off for about 11 months all in all but the last couple of months will be unpaid so depends how we are coping financially. My ideal would be to be off until the end of August next year to enjoy the summer. So I could finish early and just go back a bit earlier which I will do if it's what midwife advises. I'm seeing her on Thursday and can't wait to find out if baby is engaged yet as been feeling some very forceful movements down below iykwim! Me and dh on holiday this week so will be first time he will have heard the heartbeat too!

Hi all, thought I'd pop by and say hello!
Less than 6 weeks to go until the expected big day! Being worked into the ground at work but have this week off then back for two, finally finishing at 37 weeks. So tempting not to go back after this week as it has been so hard. But gonna try my best as otherwise I just have to go back earlier!
Think I've been getting these braxton thingies too - do they feel like period pains? It's wierd tho because it will hurt like that for about 20-30 minutes then I might not get anything else for a couple of days. Heartburn still bad, waking me every couple of hours in the night and dh in spare room as I keep snoring... how very attractive! Baby keeps getting hiccups too - sometimes 2-3 times a day. I know it's part of developing her lungs but get a bit worried about it. Feeling generally anxious about everything at the moment, and although I love being pregnant and have so much to look forward to, I keep getting really down days when I will just wake up and burst into tears. Pregnancy is a strange experience that's all I can say!
((((HUGS)))) Ju, Jenny will be looking down on you all this xmas and knowing you are all thinking of her. My first lo would have been 6 months this xmas but I know my nan is looking after her up there and they'll have their own little xmas together.
Big hugs to you all
Kerry

hello,
Im fed up again today, thinking about my little angel jenny, how i wish she was here with us, what a special xmas that would have been.
it will be a good xmas anyway with junior, all cozy with the fire on and opening pressies, eating food.i was getting sharp pains in my pubic area last night, not intense though or regular. thats how i started labour last time
Im not in labour though! He's quite snug in there.I go back to work on tuesday for 6 weeks and only working 4 days a week too, as using my annual leave ive got left to shorten my weeks. i wont have much work to do anyway, as ive finsihed work with all but one of my children.
Braxton hicks can be scary Rach, ive been getting them, but not strong.
Hope you are all ok,
love ju and 26+5 bump.xx

Yeah it will be worth it, but you DO forget how hard it is being pg i think! This pg is going really well *touch wood, ive had no problems, not even thrush and the constipation has been ok most of the time. im just so bigger than i was with Evelyn and jenny too i think. i just feel like a big blimp, cant get comfortable, i know tomorrow i'll probably feel better though!
i am feeling very emotional and i have to try hard to control my emotions at the moment! i could cry very easily over nothing! its just starting to drag now, dont know if im feeling like that cos im on annual leave at mo, probably. When i go back to work next week it will probably start to go quicker. i only have 6 weeks left! im thinking im gonna be bored at home, but i will be just be so huge and grumpy at work, im probably doing the right thing in finshing at 33 weeks.
dh is watching footie
I thnk he is used to my mood swings now!lolju.xx
