hi ladies i have been to the hospital today for a scan on the baby's brain and spine as i always get gestational diabetes so my hospital now does extra checks on the heart at 20 weeks and the brain and spine at 15 weeks, and even though this is baby number 9 it never gets boring seeing a scan of the baby, i also had a scan 2 weeks ago and its amazing how much the baby has grew and changed in just 2 weeks cant wait for the next scan in 4 weeks time..

Eldest ill but couldn't get day off work to look after her (my mum just gone on hols and noone else to help), then got call at work to say she needed picking up and middle child did as well because of accident in playground. Had to grovel to get out of work and now have to see boss tomorrow to explain absence!  Feel and early mat leave coming on.....

Ok so my 'large' family is now feeling quite small after going through these posts

I have three girls who share the big bedroom in our house - they are 7, 5 (8 and 6 in July) and 2.  They have their moments but on the whole get on really well. Baby four due in Oct but is staying a yellow bump so we will have to wait and see if it gets its own room or if we have four girls to split two and two sharing! I too have wondered how they will get on as they get older with the room sharing but time will tell I suppose.

my ds1 whos 4 next sat and ds2 8months share the 2nd bigest room and my dd 2.5 yrs has the smalest room we are waiting to hear about moving to a bigger 3 bed or a 4 bed house near to hubbys work and we are going to start trying for number 4 agian this month after waiting a month after mc, we would love to have at least 4/5 kids but he wants his own fottie team, our only worries is how can we afford to have more that 5 kids as with his wage 5 kids we can look after and give them treats every month but if we want more i will have to go out to work, but i love beeing a sahm

We moved last november and all kids got own room, when baby no 4 arrives she will share with 3 year old DD in largest of kids rooms. Before we moved my 8 and 3 year old DDs shared a small room which was ok, but 8 year old was getting fed up of her stuff being scribbled on!

we were fairly lucky as the way we had them worked out perfect for them sharing. my boys are 12 & 8 and share the larger spare room and our girls are 4 and 11 months sharing the smaller spare room. i toyed with the girls swapping as girls seem to acumulate more stuff than boys but then we figured the girls seem to take over the entire house with their things so probably best as they are.

my boys do argue (what kids dont) and to give the eldest one some privacy last year we partitioned their room so that at bedtime our younger son isnt constantly annoying him. we also have a rota system in place so they have so much time each per tv/pc and each get their homework time in there on their own. the only time we had problems were with bedtimes but we found if we stagger their bedtimes problems become less.

my girls have only started sharing today so have no idea how it will pan out.

we only have 3 bedrooms but our room is massive and is very capable of being turned into two rooms of needed. all depends on what sex this baby is if baby is a boy then i wont be putting him in with the boys as i feel the age gap is far too large and to be honest they are boys so the room isnt the most hygenic place for a little one lol we may have to opt with converting our room into two so baby will have his own room. if another girl then the three girls will swap with us and share the largest bedroom in the house and me and dh will squeeze into the little room.

i have 3  girls age 12, 9, 6 sharing its hard at times cause they argue over tv etc but we ended up doing a rota system now they get on    well most of the time

i also have a 4 yr old son n 2 yr old daughter sharing
