    Hi

I had a mmc in dec 04.  Found out at 9 + 5 that baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks.  I got pregannt again  less than 3 months after it had finished in march 05 with my son who is now 2 1/2.  Perfectly healthy & no problems throughout the preganancy whatsoever

I had a mc a few years ago, was about 6 weeks when the bleeding started, had a scan and blood tests etc but there was no hope. We waited a month before trying again as we really wanted a baby at that point and after i'd had a period started trying, that month we fell pg with dd, i had some bleeding at about 10 weeks but went through the following months with no problems, there was another bleed the week before she was due which led to me being induced but she arrived with no problems or complications, she's now 2 and absolutely wonderful.

It really is  possible to have success after a mc but it's natural to be worried about it happening again, sadly a high percentage of pregnancies end in mc and there's nothing that can be done to stop them, just try and relax as best you can and hope for the best, i'm sure it'll all be fine.

tank u all for all ur stories of hope.ive been havin pains alst 2 days and some yellow discharge (sorry if tmi) and not sure if its normal.i feel like im full of wond tho,and yesterday i had loads but tummy not any less bloated.i just hope this is down to wind and not anythin more serious.no bleeding.called epac and they said it can be normal for yellow mucus to come away during pg esp early stages.i just hope it is.they keep sayin no blood is a good sign but they said that last time and it meant nothin cos i still lost bubba.anyway thanks all,tc emma

I had mmc  - knew almost straight away somthing was wrong as all the symptoms I had been having almost completely disappeared. The 'baby' (was just an empty sac, not even a yolk sac or fetal pole had appeared) stopped developing at 5w along. At 8w, I had  D & C as 'baby' had not grown at all in the 3 weeks and had repeated scans to check development (there wasn't any) so the situation remained exactly the same as first scan. Waited for af but 4 weeks later - nothing so started OPKs as my GOP said it was opk to ttc before af arrived if I felt emotionally up to it. So we did ttc and happily caught the first egg released since D & C and that is now my ds who is 2.5 yrs old. I was sick as a dog with him so knew that something was going right lol GL!!!! Love Nat, x

    Hi,

I had a mc at 8 weeks in Aug 07, I began bleeding heavily and everything came away - sorry tmi. I was stunned as i had my dd with no problems. I was totally heartbroken

In Nov 07 (12 weeks later) I discovered I was pregnant again, started bleeding mega heavy at 6 weeks - feared the worst went to epads but they couldnt tell me why I was bleeding and that beany was still holding tight. I then started bleeding again at 8 weeks - even heavier than the heaviest period id ever had and sat in bed for 24 hours crying before I could get into epads.

I had to go on my own as dp was away, it was horrible but the nurses were so fantastic. Anyway - had a scan - still crying and she swung the monitor around straight away and announced - theres your little beans heartbeat! If someone had brushed me with a feather I think id have fallen off the bed!!!!  I must have looked like id escaped from the local nut house

I'm now 34 + 3 with my blue bump, I hope that this might help.

    Sally

on the pill for 10 years, fell pregnant the first month that I stopped it. MMC at around 12 weeks, baby had been dead since 6 weeks. Was told to wait for 3 months, just to get my head round it, not for physical reasons. Got knocked up and had a fine trouble free pregnancy after that one, and then another, and then another!!!

I was very scared though when I fell pregnant after MMC, its only natural. I told no one until I was 5 months, as the week I told everyone with the first I lost it, so I thought at least if it goes at 5 months it has a chance.

Anyhoo, good luck, everything will fall into place and you'll be OK.

I had an early mc at 5 weeks, late October 2007.  I fell pg again in Jan and am now 26 weeks pg with a little girl who is due on 4th October.

Never give up hope, it will happen.  I took my mc as a good sign that I was able to get pg and I think that helps trying to conceive again, cos you now know you can!

HI, i had a mmc in sept at 11 weeks but baby had stopped growing at 9. i had medical management (tablets) but had heavy bleeding and ended up with a blood transfusion and a 3 day stay in hospital. after all this i still had retained products but not enough to actualy treat and the doctor explained that the extra lining would come away with my period. i had a period 5 weeks later which was near on normal (no clots) so i was a bit worried that i was still carrying the retained products but it didnt seem to cause a problem as i fell pregnant that month. i am now 31+6 and have had a pretty straight forward pregnancy only problem being placenta previa which im being scaned for on thursday to see if its decided to move.

im sure everything will be fine, so stay possitive altho i know it is hard with whats happened but there shouldnt be any reason why you cant have a normal pregnancy now
