i was also quite far gone when i found out with my first i was pg thought i was 6 weeks but scan showed i was almost 16 weeks all that time i has still been taking the pill and getting periods.

i fell pg with my first while on the pill but that was probably more down to the crappy lifestyle i was leading with my ex. that was on microgynon which i know from previous posts on here (there is a huge thread on pg from the pill somewhere on here) that its a common one to fall pg on.

however im a lot older now i know how to take the pill as i have been on and off it for a long time inbetween ttc and i know what affects it. had nothing that could have affected it this time and still got pg on micronor.

i fell pregnant with my 1st  son when i was on the pill, i didnt find out until i was 14weeks and had been taking the pill up until then, my son was born healthy weighing 7 lb 15 oz at 39+5 weeks, hes now 4 and has never had any serious health problems so if you are i wouldnt worry too much, the pill shudnt affect baby.hth

lol i fell with both mine number one one the normal pill and number on the mini pill

guess i was no good at taking them but sickness anti biotics ect can all stop the pill working

I was taking the pill when i fell pregnant with our first baby. I started to have bad mood swings, eczma on my face, greasy hair and sore breasts, so i stopped taking it thinking i was having a bad reaction to it went to see my GP  who thinking i had a urine infection tdid a couple of tests on my urine and told me i was pregnant. i found out i was about 8 weeks pregnant. he was a honeymoon conception. he was born completely fine. my midwife said the pill wouldnt have affected him at all.

My sister feel pregnant on the pill, she got to almost 3 months before she knew. xox

My friend fell pregnant on the Pill and was 9 weeks when she realised, and her baby son was born healthy and well.

I've fallen pregnant when on the pill, i had a feeling i was pregnant so i stopped taking them (but also didnt have sex until i could test to be safe)

I haven't personally, but a friend of mine did, she didn't know until ages in 4 or 5 weeks.

Doctor said it wouldn't hurt the bubs, as the placenta doesn't attached until 6 weeks or so, so is just a bit weird on the hormones.

Thanks for your response Emma. If I am its only a couple of weeks, hence I said wait til my 7 day break.... Only as we went away and I forgot to take it with me, alterbative broke and so on.... We have 2 children already and though 3rd not planned wouldn't be worried about having another.... Though I am probably just getting the idea into my head that I may be and it'll turn out that I'm not.

I just wondered if anyone else has fallen, and if so if the pill affected anything...

how far do you think you are and for what reasons?if you think you are then i would stop taking the pill immediately and use alternative contraception ie condom,just to be on the safe side in case youre not - i am guessing youre not planning a preg seeing as you are on contraception.apparently for the 1st cpl of weeks what you eat etc doesnt go straight throught the baby until a few weeks (4/5 i think).so i wouldnt worry too much whether this has affected the fetus.i hope this helps, emma

On the pill/ Think I maghth be and am not sure whether to just stop taking it or wait until my 7 day break? Anyone wlse fallen whilst taking contraceptive? xx
