i was just wondering the same till this afternoon....my lo is 17 weeks havent had a period since he was born was fully bf for 6 weeks then mixed fed till about two weeks ago.....we use condoms but had one lil accident ...so i was really panicing!!! been feeling sick etc ...well did a test this afternoon  and it was a bfp ..."few" although now im a bit disapointed lol a crazy womans mind hey....... i know my periods gonna come back when im on my holiday in a few weeks lol

good luck with the second test, im now 21+1 with non identical twins, our identical twins are 8 months old, we were using condoms and still got pregnant, was breast feeding too which obviously isnt a contraception but didnt have any periods so was over 8 weeks before I realised lol

thanks Kath. that's why i got a two pack! one step ahead of ya. i have mixed feeling about getting pg again so soon. part of me would be thrilled and the other part would have a melt down lol

I would test again in 2 weeks, definalty if no sign of af by then.

Definatly more fertile aftere a baby. For the first 12 months after it is supposed to be alot easer to conceive than if you leave it any longer. That's why we planned to leave it no more than 12 months. However I was taking the pill (yasmin) and I was 6 weeks pregnant by the time my son was 8 months old!

My friend got pregnant when her baby was 9 weeks old and she was bf. Bf defo isn't a reliable form of contraception, just ask on here! lol. I'd do a test and see, it might just be that your periods are taking a while to get back into a pattern after the baby? The only way you'll know is doing a test but i know my friend who i meantioned earlier (who had tried for 7 years for the first baby) was told that you're more fertile after having a baby, so who knows!? good luck

have gotten pregnant or know of someone who has gotten pregnant while they were exclusively bf??? i am a bit worried...my dd is only 4 months and i am on the mini pill (which isnt as effective as the normal pill) and dh and i use condoms, BUT a couple of times we got caught up in the moment and didnt use anything (except my bc of course). we both want another baby, but we were hoping to wait a year or two. for the past week i have been having some cramps and my back has been really hurting-i dont remember having any of this with dd. also, i cant go by my period because i havent gotten one since i started the mini pill! which is normal i guess, but they say if i havent bled for 60 days while on the pill i should take a pg test...and its coming up on 40-50 days not i think.....any help would be great! thanks in advance
