hi i had a short cord with my first ds i now have 2 and the second was fine they never told me it was short until he was born and i had to hold him still  attacted when he was born so the mw could quickly cut the cord.

With my second son his cord was so short he only just got out, i would mension it to your midwife and see what  she says

I don't know masses about short cords but think you should mention it to your mw - not trying to scare you but worst case scenario your cord could be too short for you to give birth and you'd need a section.

I have been for a private scan today and mentioned in passing that the cords of my other 4 babies have got progressivly shorter.

She measured this babies cord (which they don't usually do)and said that this one looks short too.

I was just wondering if anyone has any information or experience in this? I have tried googleing it but did'nt get much.
