Thank you everyone for your replies, it ment and still means so much to me.   I went to the OB today, but unfortunately I didn't get an exam because he had to rush out for a delivery.

Anyways I was told the same thing as you've been telling me here  THANK U FOR YOUR SUPPORT.  I have to go back on the 9th of Sept to get a full exam, I will be sure to keep each and everyone of you updated.

I too had a large cyst on my right ovary with my second baby which was picked up at my 12 week scan when went back at 22 weeks it had gone and had a small one on the left ovary , was told  they are really common and unless they become really big they usually are just left alone . I had a perfectly fine pregnancy / delivery no complications at all .

i had a cyst on my right side at 7 weeks with this baby it was still there on my 13 weeks scan/ After that they wanted to check on the midterm scan but the sonographer was a bit dopey and didnt check so i had to tell her about it afterwards and she checked again but there was nothing there then.

so mine had disapeared like so many do. cysts are extremely common.

Hi There. I also had bad pains in early pregnancy and a scan at 9 weeks showed a cyst on my ovary, can't remember which one now! By by next scan at 12.5 weeks it had all but disappeared and I was told it was so small that there was no need to keep checking it ( shame I was hoping for some extra scans!) It is quite common and the hosp will keep a good eye on it to ensure it causes no problems. hth and good luck with your pregnancy

Hi there, before I fell preg I kept experiencing pains and went for a scan and was told i had some cysts and a quite large one on one ovary, I was told this was perfectly normal as we often get them on our ovaries, they just don;t often cause pain they hoped that they would go on their own but ordereda follow up scan for three months later to be sure as the biggest was bordering on the size where they would consider draining it, anyway in the mean time i fell pregnant, my midwife said that they wouldn'tnormally cause problems and the hosp would be very reluctant to do anything whilst I was pregnant, she said the only problem might be pain as the cysts are caused by hormones and of course they are going wild during pregnancy, i had my follow up scan and luckily my cysts had all gone, i was almost 8 weeks pregnant at the time so got an early peek at baby too which was great, funnily enough i just got a letter about that scan in the post today saying that there was no evidence of any ovarian cyst, YAY!!!! hopefully all will be well with you, if you haven't already been told you will get a follow up scan you could mention it to the sonographer when you have your 12 week scan and she will probably comment on it in her report, thats what i did when i had my 12 week scan last week. sorry if this is a load of waffle and sorry its so long, lol, good luck hun, xxx

I had some small cysts on my right ovary at the beginning of this pregnancy. They were picked up on my dating scan. I had another scan at 16 weeks to check on them and they had disappeared.

Hi Chrissie, I think these are fairly common - I had one called a "corpeus luteum (sp)" cyst which my MW said was produced from the ovary where the egg was released. These normally go away after a month or two (mine did anyway!). Your MW will be able to advise you more but from my experience it caused me some discomfort and sharp pains but then disappeared.

Hi i had a cyst with my first pregnancy by the time i was 6 months pregnant it had dissappeared I think it depends on  how big it gets

it shouldnt interfere with yr pregnancy but they may wanna keep an eye on its growth with scans. if your  concerned speak to yr dr/midwife their the ones that will know the answers for you.

    GOOD LUCK with your pregnancy

I went to the ER this Sat because of pain in my right side.  After an US they told me I am 6wks and I have a cyst on my right ovary.  Does anyone out there have any insite on this?  I am wondering if I'll be able to carry my baby to term without misscarrying.
