I bought some bellybelt things, one does for button trousers the other for clasps, in two sizes so you four in total and also three different types of material to attach so you don't have your underwear on view all the time! Working so far with all my usual trousers.

PS I always just loop an elastic band round the button through the buttonhole and then back over the button again. Job done. I'm 33 weeks now and still in my normal jeans. Did buy 2 pairs of maternity jeans from New Look today but TBH theres not that much difference in the low waist ones, but cheap enugh at £12 a go. I dont like the belly huggers.

I never knew these things existed!

But I have got some bra expanders. just a wee bit material with a couple of rows of hooks and a couple of rows of loops. Means I dont have to buy a new bra that I’m only gonna wear for a couple of months. Love gadgets!

    HI

have a look at More 4 mums trouser extenders.

    http://www.more4mums.co.uk/Pregnancy-&-New-Mum-essentials/c69/p599/Maternity-Jeans/trousers-Button-Extender/product_info.html

They habe a loop and button that you attach to your pre-pregnancy trousers.  Would let you wear your ordinary trousers as long as you have a few longer length tops.

I tried the bump bands in New look at the weekend but was a bit disapointed.  You get 3 for 9.00 a good price but they didnt feel comfortable... Tried on size M/L and they were a bit tight on the hips and baggy on the top..... Just my luck they didnt have a Large to try on.  As I am getting to stage my belly is popping out between trousers and works top....

Not tried these, but i bought a black and a white 'bump band' from topshop website, at £5 each. they are fantastic as you don't need to buy loads of maternity tops! Also, you could have your normal trousers open and use these to both hold them up and also to hide your knickers! lol xxxx

Ive bought the belt wise (think thats what its called?)

But i haven't used it yet as im only 7+6. From what i can see thou you need longer tops that cover zip area but apart from that they look good.

    Hi!

Just wondering if anyone has bought / used waist band extenders to extend the time you can wear you normal trousers for.

I'm back to work next week (after the summer holidays) and have purchased two new pairs of pants, but because I'm so tall I can't find cheap ones anywhere - £35 a go.  I wouldn't normally mind paying this, but to say I'm only gonna be wearing them for 4 months - it's VERY expensive!!

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

    Thanks ladies! x
