Your cervix pulls itself round to the front and drops down in preperation for labour, if it's done that and your overdue, thats when they tend to say your favourable for induction hth

After having a sweep from a medical professional that made my toes curl i woul dnever have one again and I would never do a DIY one. sweeps rarely work anyway, what are you thinking trying to do it yourself?

does anyone know if your cervix should be high or low at the end of pregnancy?

Kind of lol, It was last time round and I was randomly checking to see if my cervix had started to move, found it had moved forward and started to drop, I managed a show and started off slow labour, A proper sweep from the mw a few days later worked loads better, perhaps coz she could reach in far enough to be quite forceful where as I in comparison just gave it a skim lol

and i wouldnt reccomend it either!
get it done buy a professional, someone who knows what there doing...
thats what they are there for!

anyone done one???













mine keeps moving tmi I know one min it up then its low and thick. I remeber a thread about diy sweeps last year just after cons sweeped me with dd and never read it. what is favourable cervix????
