enquire about BF support groups/councilor/advisor in your area. They will answer all ur questions and help when you are Bf'ing. Soreness can be caused by not latching on prop. Breast milk rubbed into nipples and left to dry is the best cure for soreness.

Hi there
I breast fed all of my 3 children and went through sore periods. I dont have any remedies as such and didnt want to just read and not say something.
But do give it a go again, you could quite possibly sail through this time. Sorry not much help, but good luck hun

the first weeks are always sore for me. I did however find it was much easier second time round. i agree about speaking to bf councellors in your area and finding support groups etc. i also recomend lansino nipple cream... put it on after every feed and it will make a difference. it took me about three weeks this time before things were 'okay' but make sure you ask your mw to help - if you need to ask every time you feed while in hospital, please do. it their job so don't feel bad or silly - you are not. and finally, best of luck.
