Definitely!!! I have 3 children, the first was a hospital birth and very traumatic, the second was a wonderful waterbirth at a mw led unit, and the third was a failed induction followed by a section.

If i had to choose one of them to repeat again this time round it would be number two, without a shadow of a doubt.

I had only gas and air, i felt weightless and was able to easily shift my position during contractions, the warmth of the water was soothing and helped with the pain. It was so so relaxed and i loved it. Ds wasnt able to be born under the water as he had the cord round his neck 3 times and a hand up by his face, so they stood me up in the pool and pulled him out as i pushed (if i had been i hospital it wouldve been forceps or ventose and an episiotomy, as it is i didnt even tear). But if i couldve had him under water and brought him to the surface myself, it really wouldve been the perfect birth.

I wanted a home water birth with number 3, but had to be induced early so it wasnt to be. But if i get the chance with this one i will definitely go for it.
