Thank you all for your comments unfortunately I think I have lost the baby. the bleeding got heavy on saturday night and then this morning a big clot came out that looked like the sac. I went to the doctors and she said that it is more than likely that I've lost it. I just want to say thank you for your comments and hope next time I'll be luckier.

I bled red blood which was fast running. I also had clots and I thought it was the end of my pregnancy. I didn't have any of this with my first pregnancy. I was 7 wks pregnant. Had early scan at EPU and all was fine. The only explanation they could give me was that the uterus is very vascular and is prone to the odd bleeding. I realise that now. I bled for 2.5 days then it windled away to brown, sometimes a bit red and stayed for nearly 3 wks. I still thought the worst TBH. I am still going and am now 29 wks. i had spotting at 6 weeks in my pregnancy. i was taken in to have a scan and all they could see was a sac and no baby so i had to wait 2 whole weeks to find out if it would develop into anything (there words not mine).i went back to see my baby and she was fine..moving around and showed a strong heartbeat. i also had spotting at 16 and 22 weeks and each time was taken in to have a scan to check the baby was fine. In january i gave birth to a healthy daughter. i know how hard it is to sit and wait to see if everything is ok but bleeding in pregnancy happens alot. just remember if you do see anymore bleeding (more then you had before you went in) or any clots then contact your midwife. if anything at all does not feel right then let her know.x

I had this at around week six (red blood for 48 hrs, when i wiped) and was scanned at EPU. I was told that i'm expecting twins and the bleedng was from a little bit between the 2 sacs. She said that unless it was v.heavy and enough to saturate pads then i souldn't worry. I'm now 16+1 and have only had one slight pink spotting incident at around 9 wks after sex (sorry if TMI). So if your scan looked okay at EPU then i'd try not to worry yourself hun. x x Stacey 16+14/10/08 22:53
Hi, there's not much i can say as i have had no bleeding during any of my pregnancies so far.
The only thing i can say is try not to worry.
I know its easier said than done as it may be the only thig on your mind, but the extra worry and stress won't be doing you or the baby any good.
Try to eat, drink and rest well.

i have had this too, i'm 5 weeks and for the last four/five days been bleeding with no pain on and off. I went to the doctor and she said that it could be a small af as your body is getting used to be being pregnant or an implant bleed, she said not t be too worried if there is no pain and to do a preg test next week just incase. I finally stopped bleeding today and still getting a really strong bfp so I think you just need to be patient (i know it's hard) and see how things go.

This is my first pregnancy and I'm only 5 weeks. I have some bleeding for about 5 days now most of the time its dark brown but a couple of times it's been reddish. I have no pains with it and I don't bleed all day its only now and again throughout the day with no clots with some of the days hardly bleeding at all. I've been to the early pregnancy unit where they gave me a scan and told me how far I was then booked another scan for 2 weeks time. They didn't really tell me if it was normal or anything to worry about just obviously go back if there's clotting or constant bleeding. I don't know if this is normal or anything to maybe worry about.
