hi
i am a very keen runner. i ran the robin hood half the day before i found out i was 4 weeks pregannt. I am gutted as my MW told me to stop runnign till after my 12 weeks are up. Did you run through thsi timeframe. I am chomping at the bit and the pregancy DVD's that are out there are really annoying. Still doing them as its better than nothing

Any pregnant runners/joggers or just general exercisers out there?
I been running for six years and always been a bit of an exercise junkie. I've really toned it down since I found out I'm pregnant, but I'm still out jrunning (slowly) a few times a week. I feel great and have had no problems/sickness at all. I'm now 25 weeks and my midwife is happy for me to continue what I'm doing. I'll be hanging up my trainers when my body tells me to stopped, but right now I'm really enjoying feeling fit and healthy. I've started swimming a bit too, which I will probably resort to in the latter stages.
Of course I've come across a few disapproving looks at snide remarks...just wondered if anyone is keeping up their fitness levels.

I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 11 weeks. Had no reason to believe I was pregnant. So, yes, I ran throughout my first trimester. I even did a few races. One being an epic mountain marathon.
The most I've run since is about 7 miles. I did a 10K at 20 weeks and another 10K yesterday (at 25 weeks). It's really nice just to jog around and just enjoy the experience. No pressune.
Thanks for the link. Every bit of reassurance helps.
