Had scan yesterday and it showed that i am around 6wks pg, just a pregnancy sac and yolk. i thought i was 8+4 as my last af was 9august but my cycles can be quite irregular.  The bleeding continued yesterday very light and nothing today. So touch wood all will be ok.  They will scan me again in 10days to check if pregnancy is progressing. Im just praying all will be okay , its horrible having to wait

Thanks for the reassurance girls. I think because I didnt bleed at all when I was carrying dd im so worried this time. Plus because I had a mc at 6wks in july i keep thinking the worst.  I guess Ill have to wait and see tomoro. Its not got any heavier since this morning just spotting but red blood.  Good luck to you Louise with the rest of your pregnancy sending you some good luck labour vibes

i woke up in the middle of the night at 8 weeks pg and my pajamas were soaking, thought i'd wet myself it was that bad but when i turned light on it was bright red blood. was soo frightened, went to A+E who booked me a scan for a couple of days later, they checked everythin and said i was fine, i carried on bleeding lightly for a few more days then it stopped. then i bled again at about 14 weeks, but not much. Im fine now and in fact im due today! Bleeding is very common in pregnancy and not usually something to worry about but if it comes with pain and clots then you defo need to be checked out.

    Hi there

i had the same at 8 weeks so i know how worried you must be, i was referred to EPU for a scan and all was well, i have been told it was when my period was due and just old blood, hope the same applies to you. I'm sure as long as theres no cramps or heavy blood you will be okay. Hth. xx

when i was 7 weeks i had some light bleeding. It wsn't bright red blood it was the dark brown that i had sorry tmi. I was worried as i had a very early misscarriage (5 weeks) 2 months before getting preggers this time. I spoke to my doc on the phone and he wasn't concerned really at all. He said that as long as it weren't bright red and i weren't getting any severe cramps not too worry. He basically just told me to take it easy. Its very worrying cos like you i had no bleeding what so ever first time and it takes you by surprise. Like you i knew some people bleed during pregnancy ( my mum for one) but it doesn't stop your worrying.  I hope the scan goes ok and that way it will put your mind at rest. Good luck.
