I risked taking the car out as i knew the midwife wouldn't come to me. She said my blood pressure is 106 over 62 is that good. no protein in urine. also seen the doc and he said he reckons its a migraine. It was strange i was worried incase it was elipsey because when i fit i do not get any warning before it happens. Some people do, I got elipsey in my second pregnancy my wee boy was breech they tried turning him but it didn't work. I was sleeping when it happened and when my husband woke and found me he didn't know what to expect. He thought i was going to die. That same morn my son was born by emergency c section. I don't remember anything about the fit. So thats why i was so worried didn't have anything like that in my other pregnancies.

It sounds like a migraine huni. I had em with my last pregnancy and have started getting them with this pregnancy too. They can be quite frightning the first time u get em. The first one I had, I actually thought I was going blind lol! They could be a sign of pre eclampsia so Id get it checked out or it could just be hormonal! I also used to get them when I was going through puberty tmi!!

if it was that bad you shoud get it check out, as you may know pregancy can change our eye sight  and have lots of differnt effects but if you phone any opticans they will also  give you some adive, but they may also wont to do a full sight test. Or phone you mw as it could also be other stuff too

It is really just the same. the midwife has told me to get my blood pressure checked now do i get to the clinic with 4 kids i don't feel that it would be safe to drive. so i'll have to wait till hubby gets home. I have eplisepy (sp) but i dont get a warning if i am going to have a fit so i am just wondering if it could be that

I am 38 weeks tomorrow and it came suddenly. There are no flashing lights just everything seemed to be surrounded with a white light. This is my 5th pregnancy. Do you think if it is preclamsia that they will induce or what. It never happened before. It was that severe that i could hardly see. I don't know what to expect.

it could be a migraine . you sometimes get what is called an aura with it like flashing zig zag lights. well thats how i get them. Although if it came on ver suddenly i would maybe get it checked maybe give mw or doc a ring. is it still as bad or has it got worse?

It coud be a migraine but as it developped suddenly and the seeing white i'd contact mw or hosp mat day unit as it could be pre-eclampsia  they will prob want you to go in

    Good luck

I have suddenly developed a very severe headache, it might sound strange but everything that i looked at was surrounded by white. I could hardly see anything it was that severe. Any advice on what it could be.
