but i stopped breast feeding at 8 weeks.... she is now 20 weeks!

hi ladies.... i bf my youngest dd for 14 mths and never had a period in this time, it took a few mths for my body to adjust and af was never regular 24-30 days... when i previously bf my 2 dd and 2ds i still had periods....

i was under the impression that you cant fall pg when bf but i did, i was also taking the mini pill too but still managed it......

Im not sure I can help but I BF the girls for 10 months only just stopped recently and as im pregnant ive not had a period back being pregnant anyway can mess your body around maybe give it another month test again and KEEP the test and take it with you to drs hun see what they say you might just need something to kick start them again xxx

hi hun, i havnt ever managed 2 breastfeed myself, so have not had it happen 2 me, but i know a couple of my friends have said they dont have periods while feeding, so i think it is normal? i also thought u couldnt get preg while feeding aswell, but im sure its not 100% safe, i know the mini pills a great form of contraception u can use while feeding, soz i dnt know much, but hope this helps u a little xxxx

I know this is not exactly pregnancy related but ive posted it in 3 differnt forums with no replys!

I gave birth to my baby girl on 31st May, i breastfed her for 8 weeks so obv didnt expect to have a period.....

Its now 3 months after i stopped breastfeeding and still no sign of my period.

I done a pregnancy test yesterday and its a negative, so its not that, i havnt been on any form of contraception that might effect it (such as pill or coil) so im just wondering if this is normal???

Please help!! xxxxxxx
