I had a false positive once. Although i hink they technically call this a chemical pregnancy although i dont really like to think of it as that. Basically a chemical pregnancy is where your pregnancy doesnt take so after a few days you start to test negative so it appears the positive was false, when infact you where pregnant for a matter of days it just didnt take. I prefer to think mine was a false positive though.

Just wanted t say I spent £2 on my pregnancy test, when you buy he expensive ones all your doing is buying a name and packagin, the chemist told my partner they are all exactly the same, just these company prey on our emotions think if we spend a fortue on a test it will be more accurate its not the case, all they do is the exact same thing pick up the HCG hormone, like i said mine was £2 n i bought 2 and they worked brilliantly, dont be taken in by these companys charging you the earth for summit you can buy at a fraction of the cost

With both my pregnancies my doc has not even done a test at the surgery. Basically the test they use are no more effective than cheap supermarket ones. The only difference with some is that you can test earlier than an expected period and the expensive ones are prob easier to do.

Hiya I am on my third pregnancy and I have used pound pregnancy test with all of them and they were all correct results. Apparently the only time you can get a false positive is if you have polycytic ovaries, I dont know if this is true but I heard this somewhere. So if I were you I wouldnt worry about it.

I used tescos own test and did several as didn't really believe it was positive. When i went to the doctors they were happy with me saying they were positive and didnt even offer another test. I agree i dont think you can get a false positive , false negative yes . I shouldn't worry  - what does your body tell you ?

the cheaper ones are just as good hun. if you have been given a positive result then its fair to say you are pregnant it is all but impossible to get a false positive result. xx

    Hi

Buy a clear blue digital test. They are a bit more expensive but will tell you pregnant or not pregnant without any doubt. Should put your mind at rest.
