It could be something as simple as a water infection hon, but still best to get checked out as they can be quite nasty during pregnancy if left untreated.
I had crampy pains that were awful at 27 weeks with my last baby. Started at the front across my tummy then moved to my lower back. When i went to the loo and wiped and saw blood, i completely lost it. Was admitted to hospital twice in agony and was told i has hydronepherosis (a severe kidney infection) but turned out i actually had kidney stones, and was nothing to do with the baby at all!!!
Let us know how you get on hon.

When i had my 1st mc dint get any pains just bleeding but with 2nd mc i had really heavy bleeding and then went on to have a full blown labour(this was at only 12 wks). I'm sure everything will be ok if your really worried tho id go get checked out, even just to put your mind at rest. x

thanks girls for all your replies.
gonna have a glass of ice cold coke to try and get him moving, which will hopefully put my mind at rest a bit if he does.
then if i am still feeing the same in about 30 mins im gonna call antinatal ward and ask thier advice. at some points the pains are unbareable and im in agony and they take my breath away then in between i am not to bad. really getting me down now.

I would go get yourself checked out.
When I had my miscarriage I had no pain whatsoever, then when pregnant with ds had spotting and cramps until 30 weeks so everyone is different.
The nurses dont mind - just give them a wee phone for advise.
Hope everything ok.

Im not sure hun, i get alot of cramping and pain but i think its just growing and perhaps baby moving around etc- have you got a doppler you can listen to the hb to reassure yourself - you should have no trouble at 19wks - heard my bubs at 11wk - im now 22wks and find it really easily.
If in doubt ring your MW or the EPU at your hospital xxxxxxx

what would the pains be like if i was miscarrying?
i have cramping pain all the time and every so often sharp pains down in my lower abdomen. i am in alot of pain at the mo. it is getting worse as the day goes on.
spent a few days in the hopital in the week due to spotting and had 2 scans and the baby was fine. had speculam exam and my cervix was still closed.
as i say i hope i dont upset any one with this post. dont really know what to do as been back and fore the hospital so dont want to go there again. this is my second preg and i had aches and pains with my first but nothing like this.
