hi ladies thanks for your replys. i havent had any probs before i was pregnant it just started when i was about 7 wks so i hope its just the hormones and evrything causing the problem xx

hi i had a colposcopy (sp?) done last year after i had been bleedin really between periods n all the sti tests came back neg so i had a smear came back abnormal cells so got laser stuff done after 6months had another check up still abnormal so got it done again n after another check up they said it was cervical erosion i had.....they had kept sayin it could be cancerous n all this c r a p so i was really pleased when they said that!  it normal to have abnormal cells espec durin preg i think coz of all the hormones n everythin im sure the docs wont b as bad as mine n make u worry hun good luck xx

i have no experience of the thing you had done (sorry cant remember the name you wrote!) sorry.

however i had abnormal cells at my smear beginging of this year. had a coloscopy done in feb and had (leetz) surgery in march. am due another coloscopy in the next few weeks to check.  i'm 22.

i have very thick, strange discharge. a gynocolgist in the hospital even commented on it last week!! they did lots of test but no infection so putting it down to pregnacy. so yours may be the same. i know its hard but try not to worry about the abnormal cells partto much as from what i can gather it s quite common. hth

im 13 wks pg and after a few bleeds docs found i had quite a large ectropion on my cervix. i had it cortarized 4 times and only on the 5th occasion of having it cortarized did it stop bleeding.. now i here these ectropion things are really common in pg so i wasnt worried initially , however i saw a consultant the other week who asked me loads of questions one was when did u last have a smear which i replied june 04 im only 24 so dont think il get another until im 25 yrs he looked at me and frowned and said we need to make sure this ectopion is from the pregnancy and not from before he then started blabbing on about abnormal cells which freaked me out a little. im now waiting for an appt from colposcopy for them to have a better look at it. the reason for me posting is i have this horrid browny green discharge (sorry tmi) and it smells awful i had a swab taken last wk and it come back as no infection detected so now im worried that its this ectropion thing i suppose im worried its something sinister as any one else on here had an ectropion accompanied by a horrid discharge? sorry for the rambling on thanks andrea xx
