I also had small bleed at 6 weeks with number one, and went for a scan at 7 weeks, all was fine but I needed it to put my mind at rest. Tell your mw she will prob try to get you  early scan

Hiya I had occasional bleeding from 5 weeks through to 16 weeks. It ranged from red blood at 5  and 6 weeks to orange cm like you described at around 9 weeks to some brown discharge at 16 weeks. After a mmc in April I thought the worst but Im 21 weeks now, no discharge since 16 weeks and all is fine in fact baby is kicking away as I type The mw thinks its cervical erosion. I would see your GP and try to get an early scan, I had one at 7 weeks that helped toput my mind at rest.

if you have already had an appointment with the midwife you can ring her if not the doctor will refer you or even if your hospital has an epu you could ring them to see if they will see you if the bleeding becomes heavy if you go to a+e they will be more than happy to see you xxx

i was 6+2 and was losing cm which looked orangey/peachy in colour i had a scan the next day when i was 6+3 and everything was fine even saw the heartbeat they told me that although we have the initial implantation at around 6 weeks the baby implants a bit deeper and thats why a lot of women have a small bleed at around 6 weeks

i had a m/c in july and for about a week i was spotting and then turned to bright red blood where as this time the orangey stuff lasted only 18hours and was only there when i wiped but saying that a lot of women lose bright red blood and all is still ok but these things have to be checked out obviously

when i was having my m/c they scanned me confirmed i was in the early stages but also kept an eye on my hormone levels to make sure nature was doing what it intended since being on bounty i really cannot believe how common bleeding is

    good luck ladies

I know bleeding they say isn't a good sign, but you wouldn't believe how common it actually is pregnancy and still be okay. I had a bleed at 6wks but this was like the start of my period, red and a fair bit of it to! I called the MW who arranged for a scan at EPU that very same day. I was told that in fact i am having twins and the blood was due to a heamorrage<<sp between the 2 sacs. I am now 19+4 and all is still fine. I know it's easier said than done but please don't worry yourself too much. I'd call your MW and see what she suggests.
