Just to add as I didn't know I was pregnant with either of my 2 a continued to take the pill which is ill advised if you are pregnant so you should take a test asap.

Also I was 6 weeks when I found out I was pregnant with no.1 as the pill can sometimes cause a small bleed when you are pregnant because of the hormones. I also had irregural spotting with the first pregnancy. With the second pregnancy I was about 8 weeks gone before I realised I may have been pregnant as I had a normal period, but then a shorter one.... it wasn't until the smell of coffee made me hurl I thought.... hmmmmm I think i'm pregnant. When that popped into my head I knew I was before I even took the test!

Hi hun.... I am not sure how happy you will be to hear this but...I feel pregnant TWICE while taking the pill.

First time I it just happened. I was pregnant. No slip up's no forgetting to take it. But I was told as my periods are short if I had sex just before I finished the pack I may have been ovulationg while having my period and as the sperm can live up to 7 days that may have been what happened.... who knows. It just happened. With pregnancy no.2 I had food poisining on holiday and had the runs, we simply vere really stupid and forgot to use back up protection such as condoms. And obviously the pill wasn't working correctly.

If you missed your pill several times during the pack then that means your protection was lovwered very significantly... and with sperm living up to 7 days if you missed 2 in a row, you are leaving yourself very suseptable to pregnancy.

If your children are young then your chances of getting pregnant is higher as your body gets pregnant easier in the first 12 months after giving birrth, that is why mothers who have struggled to conceive are told to give it no longer than 12 months to try again.

My son was 6 months when I fell pregnant. Very easily too as we only had sex twice on holiday... with the tummy acge I wasn't in the mood too often.

With my dd 5 yrs ago i got caught after sleeping with y v new boyf twice.....a big shock and i was 19,so at that age u think ur invincible n itll never be u....stupid naivity!!!

anyway still with same partner....we were trying for a baby for 2 yrs when we got caught again,and had a mmc at 11 wks.Then we only slept together once in may just after my dp's mum had died (2 days after) and low n behold,i got caught again - im nrly 24 wks now! So goes to show that sometimes it just takes once,other times u can be trying n trying with no joy.And am a lil bit cnfusde cos if u really think ur def not preg why r u posting on general pregnancy?There must be a doubt in u somewhere to be using this forum for advice....please dont think im judging u just a bit confused! Maybe u should do a test? Is it poss u were preg and r miscarrying early on? And also my mum got caught when she was on the pill taking it religiously,so seeing as u have missed several times,then that could also mean its poss!!!

I know u sed that it took ages last time, but it took me and other half about 2 yrs first time and then about the same second time, so when we had unprotected sex this time we thought there was no way that I wud end up pregnant. I am now 3mnts preg with number 3 after just once and my second is only 7 mnths so it defo wasnt planned. Hope you sort out ur prob soon.

HI THERE, YOU ONLY NEED TO DO IT ONCE LOL. ME A DH ONLY DID IT ONCE IN SEPT LOL, AND I EVEN HAD THE MORNING AFTER PILL (WASNT PLANNING ANYMORE) I AM NOW 7 WEEKS LOL.

my periods v been spot on ever since i had my period bk wen dd was 4months old (now dd is 11months!!!) bit weird isnt it lol maybe its just my body playing tricks on me!!!

dp said theres nooooo way i culd get preg only done it a few times as it took us yr and half get our dd.  but it only takes the once anyway lol...but i defo know tht im not preg so thts counted out.

YEAH I FINK YOU SHOULD TAKE A PREGNANCY TEST JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE. BUT I DON'T THINK YOU SHOULD WORRY AFTER HAVING MY FIRST CHILD MY PERIOD WAS MAD SOME TIMES IT WOULD COME REALLY HEAVY AND LAST ABOUT 3 DAYS THEN IT WOULD COME LATE, LIGHT AND LAST ABOUT 5 DAYS JUST BODY GETTIN BACK TO NORMAL YOU BE ALRITE

not sure chick but didnt like to read and run. You may only have done it 3/4 times last month but it only takes the once lol but i know you know that. I only did it twice the month i fell pregnant and we are totally over the moon.

call your doctor chick and see what they say. sorry i cant be off any help to you

i finished my period friday morning and was really lite to start with and i did stop bleed in by tuesday nite and fort tht it was very weirdbut then i started bleeding again weds then it went really heavy..by friday nite i had stopped bleeding then 2day i went to the loo and wiped myself (sorry tmi) and had a streak of blood light ish so put a pad on and ad on a tiny lil bit of blood been to toilet again and no blood wen i wiped! its really strange i feel sick and got stomach ache i no tht i can defo not be preg as me n dp only did the deed 3/4 times last month lol i am on the pill but i forgot to take it about 6 times in tht month which is bad of me!!

any1 have any ideas wat it culd be?
