They can't do anything to you!!! I have been down this route wit my old employers and as soon as I threatened the equality commission they backed off. Needless to say I didn't go back to work for them, when you have your tiny bundle it makes you realise wats important in life and I wanted somewhere carefree and relaxed to work.

Thanks for that ladies... I spoke to my old supervisor who has just left & she said the same about keeping notes etc. & that work cant do anything about my sickness as most of it is pregnancy related & they havent followed their procedures anyway..
i went to doctors tonight also & he has give me a sick note up until my holidays start before my original agreed mat leave so i'm just going to send that in & let them sort things out. Either way i dont have to go back now & i'm so relieved.
I'm 33+2 & i'm glad that i can now relax & wait for my little bundle to arrive.
Again thankyou ladies. Hope everything is going well for you both.

I agree totally, keep a diary if you can remember comments and dates etc. Also cant you go directly to your HR department for advice on maternity pay? I bipassed my boss and sorted the whole thing myself. Im not botherd if she was offended or anything. If you want something doing you may as well try and do it yourself., especially if you work for a big organisation/ company too, that way you know you are getting it done and sorted out.
Some bosses are useless when it comes to mat pay and rights etc. Please try and keep calm, know its easier said than done. , pregnancy can be a very worrying and stressful time for us all. When do you think you might leave?
Hope you can get things sorted out with your boss, let us know how you get onand what you decide.
take care

Do it! If it's pregnancy related, I don't think they can touch you otherwise they'd have a discrimination case on their hands. Have you wrote down the dates and times she's been nasty towards you? I would.

i went into work today & had a major breakdown, could not stop crying, just felt as if i'd had enough & needed to finish work.. i spoke to my boss & asked if i could bring my maternity forward asap. i tried to carry on but was having a really bad day & couldnt concentrate so i asked if i could come home & my boss had a s***e atttitude with me. when i worked away she shouted my supervisor over & i could tell they were talking about me & werent happy... my sickness hasnt been great over the last year but i've never had a back to work interview or anything regarding my sickness... i'm now worried they might try to sack me. when i asked about my maternity she said we are looking at it but its not guna happen over night!!! why be a b*** & make me feel even worse than i already do... sorry l adies i just needed to get this off my chest, i'm so tempted to go & get a sick note off doc.

im having problems with my work to - i was involved in a car accident 2wks ago and off with a sore back - not pregnancy related - my employer refusing to pay me for this week and next week altho i read it in the contract that im supposed to get paid. he is now going on about how ive had time off paid before - yeah two days in the past 3 months as my grandfather and my bro in law both died.
i am not going back now as my doctor has signed me off again and im meant to finish up 14 nov anyway xxx
