My mw doesn't often tell me the heart rate just says it sounds good and well. It was 155 at my 32 week appt and was 150 ages ago at another appointment. Our scan said girl but she wouldn't show me on screen so I wasn't convinced. Another girl would be cool but I still feel like it's gonna be a boy bit late to swap it now lol.

Hiya the theory was right for me this time!! I cant remember hearing about it before this pregnancy so never tried it with my other 3!!

The midwife listened to the heartbeat at my 16 wk appointment and it was 160ish so i mentioned the theory to the mw who said all babies heartbeats are that fast at that stage so to take no notice but when i had a scan at 20 wks it showed im having a girl!!

When I was pg with my second I knew the sex and when I saw my mw that had been in the business for over 20years, everytime she listened to the heartbeat she said she knew it was a boy, she was right but I never said anything at first to see if she thought the same at each visit., she did.

does 4 me and did last time - having another girl lol

it does not work cause mine is a girl and she had 128 so in theory she should be a boy.

Which way round is it? I know the figure is 140 but can't remember if it's supposed to be girls or boys that are faster....
