hi, I had one for DS but that was 9 yeasr ago.. I think the design is pretty much the same now !!! I used to put it on just as DS stirred and by the time Id done his bum and was ready for the bottle it was ready. I am not sure If I will get one this time though... its a long way off yet !
I found the cooler box was good as it can be used separatley and takes 2 bottles !
btw you gotta remember to keep it topped up with water though as it makes steam to heat the bottle and make sure you keep shaking the milk so you dont get hot spots !
Good luck !

i have the lindan day and night one, and i think its great,, it all depends on the amount of water u put in,, if u even put a fraction too much then it keeps going on and on,, but u dont have to wait for it to switch off anyway,, as the bottles are usualyy warm enough if u dont use the fridgey bit

I had the mothercare bottle warmer when ds was born. It was used quite a lot because we put the bottle in to heat up when he began to stir. i recommend that - think its only about £17!

I had one for ds3 and got rid of it when we moved to Australia. But ds4 is now 6 months old and I'm the same, our house only has single glazing and winter in Tasmania is bloody cold and I didn't much want to get up and go to the kitchen to start heating bottles. We tried taking a flask of boiling water to the bedroom with us but by the time baby wanted a bottle the water wasn't hot enough.
You can't get lindam day and night feeders here so I got my mum to send one over from Scotland. It's handy to have too because the insulated pack can be used when you're going out to. We were in Cairns, North Queensland at the end of August and it's hot there all year round. Thankfully we had the insulated lindam pack for the bottles for when we were going out otherwise they never have lasted with the heat.

I found most bottle warmers took ages to heat up. This time round I might make the bottle fresh with boiling water before I go to bed, take them with me and the powder in a pot and then hopefully by the time baby wakes it will be just the right temperature! Maybe have some cool boiled water too just incase it is still abit hot! Saves going downstairs an it will be nicde and fresh! Or just send your oh down! Haha!

alli u to do with ds was before i went to bed i would fill a flask up with boiling water take 1/2 bottles up with me and a carton of milk and when he started stirring i would warm the milk up in a jug! I found it stayed hot enough throughout the night and if i wanted a lie in in morning dh would refill the flask up before work so i didnt have to get out of bed!

my mate just fed her lo's bottles at room temp. it saves you having to heat them up esp during the night as u just take it upstairs with you when you go to bed,and the lo dont mind at all if its what they always have plus makes it easier to give them a cup of cold milk when they r old enough for cows milk

I bought 1 for when i had Dyllan (he's nearly 18 months now) it didn't get used in the end as i didn't bottle feed. You are welcome to have it for £10 + p&p (it has never been used)

I had one and it's absolute rubbish takes soooo long I could heat it up quicker blowing on the bottle myself!! Def go with a jug/mug of hot water or measure out the formula in advance and add half fresh boiled water to half cooled boiled water to get the perfect temperature - loads quicker especially at night with a screaming bubs x

I was going to get one but ive changed my mind think its a waste of money to be honest and there so slow it can take ages to heat up a bottle which aint good when your lo is screamin in middle of the night for a feed. Il just use a jug of hot water and save my money !!

is anyone planning to get one or used one?
i want to get one for night feeds but dont know if they r any good or worth the money. our house is only single glazed and very cold so dont really want to have to go downstairs everytime bubs will need a bottle in the night.

Hi! When i had my first son i used to fill bottles with boiled water and let them cool. I would then take a flask of boiling water to bed with me along with the powdered milk. When bubs woke up i put the boiling water with the cooled water add the milk and perfect temp milk!!!
Room temp milk is ok but its not so easy for bubs to digest, you often find that warm milk helps them bring their wind up easier.
Then next best alternative is breast feeding as its always the right temp and doesnt require any washing up sterelising etc!!! hth
