with my daughter last year it came away gradually over a period of about 10days, they wanted to double check what it was so i had an internal exam (also so some students could see the plug stuff as they dont manage to see that side of things too often lol)

I started to lose some 6 days ago, had it for a couple of days, now nothing. I'm now 5 days overdue so hopefully won't be much longer!

That is it!!! With my first baby it seemed to all come away together but with my second it came over 24/48 hours. They say it can be up to 10 days before labour starts after having a show but with both mine I had given birth within a day of mine coming away!! Also, sounds like you have lost a lot of yours if not all of it so its looking good. When are you due? Good luck

was just wondering if this comes away once and thats it or could it come away gradually, mine which i think was it that started yesterday, came away bit in morning then last night, but i also have some this morning.its very thick like mucus with a blood like vein in it.

With mt 1st I lost it in one big blob. With my 2nd I lost it in peices over 3 or 4 days. It wasn't nice at all. Especially when I was at Tesco at one point and I could feel it. YUK!
