I think i have the same thing. At the top of my bump i often get a sore pain like a bruise, then for hours afterwards it goes numb. I can pinch the skin and cannot feel a thing!

I havent had it checked out, but i'm interested to see what your doc says about it.

I can get it when sitting, lying or walking and at any time of day. At first i thought it was the babys feet or something poking into my ribs, but just found out the baby is transverse so this cant be the case!

Is probably just bumpy poking or lying on a nerve. Try not to lie on your back or sleep on your back as this can also reduce blood flow for the lower part of your body including bumpy, as the baby  presses on the Aorta - the main artery taking blood to your legs etc.

i sometimes get a numb area just below my ribs when im sat down i think its his head  pushing on a nerve so its the same as a dead leg really it hurts but its a funny weird type of pain iykwim lol

I keep getting a horrible feeling just above bump, i’ve been getting it for months, it just keeps getting a little higher each time. It’s weird to explain what it feels like, but i’ll try lol. Do you know when you’ve been sitting on your foot for ages then you move it and it’s gone dead, the feeling you get in it when pins and needles is about to start, but not quite started. It only last for about 10 seconds, but seems to spread further everytime. The last time i felt this it made my arm tingle too, it’s always on the left about bump. Anyone any ideas???
