    dh read this and said if massage makes labour easier and is good for u he'd give me a massage till i pointed out what this massage invovled! then he said ur on our own love!!!! prob for the best!

    Almond oil is the best thing to use.  It has been used for many many centries!  I would start to use it as soon as you think, you cant use it too early!

    mothercare sell a peranium massage gel thats natural ingredients smells really nice. bit greasy and its £4.99 but im using it now so hope it works

    Hi there, ive not tried this myself, but Ive read in my pregnancy book you can do it from about 32wks.  and the oil to use is almond oil or a plain unscented carrier oil like you would use in massage, you would add drops of essential oil to it to get the scent, but dont put any of that in.  leave it plain.  hth if not ask your midwife. x x x

    hi does any body know when is a good time to start this and which oil to use to reduce the risk of tearing?? i can't remember for the life of me thanks
