omg some of these storis are so scary, i do believe in ghost etc, but have never seen 1, thank god! I dnt know how i would eva get ova it if i did, i wud be sooooooooo scared 4eva. anyway i believe all of your stories. and good luck with ur website.xx

gosh i have a few, wherever me or my family go sommit happens, but i guess the one that really scared me happened about 3 years ago when me and my friends decided to use an abandoned hospital for a photo shoot. The hospital was the red cross hospital that is in taplow buckinghamshire. the hospital was abandoned in 1985 which is the year i was born which creeped me out anyway lol, funny thing is there was no explanation as to why this hospital was abandoned as everything was left, beds, documents, cars etc.. everyone just walked out and never went back.

We climbed in over the fence and as soon as we got in the atmosphere changed, there was no sign of life, no birds flew over no animal activity at all, it was like a setting out of a horror movie. We decided to go into the hospital to a room that was covered in graffeti to start the photo shoot everything was going ok, we were all a bit on edge but nothing seemed to bad, my friend found a document on the floor with a doctors name on it and proceeded to read it, about a minute after she did this, we heard a noise of a trolly being pushed coming down the corridor and 2 big doors slam, the room went freezing cold so we went to the corridor to look and there was nothing there, so we went back into the room a bit shaken up , then shortly after the noise came again from the other end of the corrider and then the doors slam.. take into account there were no doors left hanging up as the hospital had been subjected to severe vanderlisim over the past 20 years. when we looked out into the corridor we saw a figure at the end of the corridor we first off thought it was a security gaurd but as we got closer the figure slowly faded.

we then proceeded to walk around the hospital when we got to a corner and all of us frooze and could not walk any further, then our photographers wife looked into a room completly freaked out went pale and demanded that we leave, she never did tell us what she saw.

There were about 8 of us in total 2 of which were proffessional photographers in there 40's all of us fealt and heard the same things , i also havea few photos somwhere that have very strange images of clouds on especially one over my face. We later found a website that was dedicated to the hospital and we worked out on the map that we started off in the incinarator room and there were many similar stories as to what we heard, the noise apparently was the trolley being pused down from the morgue, and the figure we saw was a nurse who apparently hung herself as she blamed herself for a childs death at the hospital and well the room that my photographers wife looked in was the nurses quarters and a girl who conducted a saiance in there later hung herself .

There were images of witchcraft and a pigs head on a cross in the hospital and the feeling we all got was of pure evil, we feel somthing very bad happened there all them years ago. many of my friends have been there and a lot of ghost hunters ttravelled from around the country to go there, type red cross hospital taplow into google to find the website. I personally had nightmares for weeks after and can not go anywhere near where the hospital used to be, even now i have goose bumps writing this. it has now been knocked down and houses built on the site, but all i xan say is i feel sorry for who ever buys a property there.

OOo im really interested in this and some of the stories are pretty freaky especially the beach one in sommerset!

Iv had a few times where iv had wierd experiences. When me and my dp moved into a flat last year it was great because it was our first time living together. Well il cut to the chase lol... In the flat there was a living room and kitchen in 1 room, and a bedroom in another and then the cellar was downstaires, it was fine upstaires but anytime we would go downstaires to do the washing or put something down there we both got this really wiered feeling that there was someone there watching us. And out of the blue i said to him write down and describe the feeling your getting that this person looks like. Anyway it was so wierd because we described him exactly the same, old man, beard, grey hair with like a trench coat on. That freaked us out in itself, but then we remembered that in his old flat dp lived in i remember taking a picture of him and behind him was a very faint face that was of the same description (i know it sounds stupid but im been serious) I guess who ever it was followed us again. Also when we were watching tv in the livingroom i saw a really bright light about the size of a golf ball, near the door to the cellar and it scared the sh*t out of me and to make it worse my dp saw it too and there was no explanation to it. there was a lot more werd things and the atmosphere in there was so heavy, all we did was argue and shout at each other! we moved out a month later. Now in our house we are so much calmer and we get on so much better...wierd

Hi i just read all the storys on here, last year in the summer me and my cloes friend where driving around with my brother and his gf we were driving for a while and we decided to go to a place called sand bay just on the out skirts of weston-super-mare in somerset. We were driving along this road which has houses on one side and on the other is a beach with a big wall type path you can walk along and has seats on it, as we were driving along something ran out infront of us and headed into this house well drive way we didnt think nothing of it and we carried on driving to the botttom which is a dead end we decided to walk up these steps i have to addmit that we were all really scared as it was pictch black and we only had a light on r phones, we had a umbrela and as we were half way up big tapping noises were on the umbrela we all got scared and ran down bk to the car, when we got bk to the car my brother and friend decided they need a wee typical men. lol well there was a hedge they come running bk to the car saying they saw some eyes so we decided 2 get out of there as we were driving along the road we were looking at the beach and there was a lady stood there in a white flowing long skirt and a white strappy top she watched us drive past and wen you see something thats not a living person you no so we all turned r heads n she had gone, then as we got to the bottom ov the road just abouts to go round the corner something ran in front ov us agen and it saved are lifes if it hadnt we would have swearved out that way and a ambulance that came shooting round the corner would have gone into us. We were all abit scared and shocked n decided to turn bk around and see were the ambulance had gone and we noticed that the ambulance was at the house that something had ran into there drive and we looked at the beach to see if we could see the lady n my friend spoted that ware we saw the lady b4 was right ware we were opiste that house as it was by a bench, we dunno if she was trying to tell us something or wanting help but i have never been down that road agen as im now to scared to. Sorry to tell the hole story but thought it wud be good for you all 2 here, i told a few ov my friends about this and so did the others who was with me at the time and some belived us as they have seen things up that road but ohters think things like that are stupid. my mother has a ghost voice recording on her mobile phone, she was lying in bed alone one night and had the video recorder on her phone as she felt a presance (sp) she was moving it round in the dark with the tv light on in backround and then turned it off, few days later she watched it back and in a very loud whispered male voice you here someone to her left saying..."b***"....then a few seconds later it says..."stupidity"... its soooo spooky, obviously someone who doesnt like her lol x

I found out I was definitely pregnant 3 hours after my nan died (I had suspected I was pregnacy prior to that and had seen her in hospital night before but didnt wanna mention til was definite), but by next day was too late, I got call from dr to say I was def pregnant  at 11am, my nan had died at 8am, I was gutted about it cos I was her only granddaughter and I know she would have loved to have known but I didnt dwell on it cos didnt want to spoil pregnancy it being my first baby. Didnt really give that another thought....when I went into labour I didnt have a good time of it and the pain relief I had didnt seem to help, I got to the point where I didnt want to carry on and at that point my nans voice came into my head clear as anything saying 'come on darling you can do it' exactly as my nan would say and in her voice then seconds later my great aunts voice cut in over my nans saying similar thing urging me on.....literally ten minutes later I had my son....was a really odd experience as I was not thinking of either my nan or her sister through the labour and yet when I really needed help I heard them both plain as day...they used exact wording they would have, exact same voices and cutting in over each other was so typical of them while they were alive...told my oh a few days later who is very sceptical and even he said he thinks there was something in it as he says I was talking plain as day at the time so not under influence of any birth related drugs etc.  Gave me a real lovely warm feeling to think they helped me when I needed help most and that they knew about my pregnancy all along.

what a kool idea! my story is not as good as the last but here goes! i used to be a nutter and drive everywhere in my car and it wasnt unusual for me to be out until early hours and then drive miles and miles home to try and make it to work on time! anyway one night i had been with friends in london and i left about 3am as needed to drive home and catch some z's any way i was driving on the m3 and it was dead i hadnt seen any cars in ages and i was dozing off i was tryin g sooooooo hard to keep my eyes open but couldnt next thing i know is there were bright lights flashing i opened my eyes and in my sleep i  had come across 3 lanes and was about to hit the crash barrier i quickly swerved and then saw there was an old fashiond motorbike like they used in the war infront of my car (well touching my bonnet) and it was facing me thats the lights i saw flashing they were from the bike the man on the bike saluted me and vanished! i pulled over into the hard sholder as was so shaken! i think he was my gardian angel and will always think this until today x

im not pregnant but saw this thread and thought i would add something because i am very interested in things like this and also because i have quite a few stories.

when i was small until i was about 12 i lived with my mum and older brother in a large old block of flats that used to be a nursing home. when my brother was about 3 he used to get upset and say that he didnt like the people in wheel chairs looking at him! he obviously had no idea that it used to be a nursing home. another time he came running out of my mums bedroom crying saying he had seen a little girl in there crying! i also once saw a white cat jump of the sofa and run out of the room and it was only recently my grandad told me he used to see an old lady sitting with a white cat when he came round and i hadnt even told him about me seeing a white cat then! another time when i was ill i was half asleep on my bed and some one started stroking my hair, i just assumed it was my mum but when i said about it to her later on she said she hadnt come in my room! my mum also used to hear and see all sorts when we lived there. she once heard a voice at night time saying 'one day this will all be ours again' and she also saw a pair of red eyes staring at her from the other side of the room. despite all this we never really felt anything evil there and felt safe but it was always as if we were being watched.

i have also seen my aunty a few times, she died when i was 3 but i remember her and its not my imagination because i have never been thinking about her, she has just appeared. my brother who was an alcoholic also said she appeared to him and told him to stop drinking but i cant be sure whether that was just cos he was drunk or not!

anyway many people are sceptical and wont believe this and often i find it hard to believe it myself when there are so many explanations for it but i know what i have seen x

Hi, not really related but been dying to tell someone this!

My dd, 3 and half, told me 2 whole weeks before my missed perod that she was gonna be a big sister.

She just sat on the sofa watching tv and turned to me and her dsd and came out with it.

Now she keeps hinting on the pg being twins, rotf.

If it is I will deffo let you know!

my main interest in this field is evp,electronic voice phenomena is where u can record alleged spirit voices on a tape recorder dictaphone etc,its not heard at time of recording but on playback you hear voices,
