Hey. I had really bad foot pain particulary along the top. It started about 8 weeks ago and as the week progressed it got worse to the point of tears when i was walking!! i went to see a podiatrist privately cos it was so bad and she said she wasn't sure but thought it could be due to the relaxin hormone released during pregnancy causing my joints to loosen.  She gave me insoles to wear in my shoes to try and they have done a great job!! The only time I have pain is when I'm not wearing the insoles.  She also said it should go away after baby born, which I really hope will be the case.  Hope this helps.

My left foot at the joint near the little toe is tender to the touch and I get a sharp pain with some movement.  It has not swelled up or appears red but it does heat up when it causes me pain.  My midewife said that other people had experiience foot pain but that she does not know the cause and if it continues or causes acute pain I should go to the doctor.  Does any one know what this is and is there anything I can do for it?
