Hello Colleen I hope you are doing ok. This will probably be my last post now as I go to Spain early tomorrow morning, im at work later and then I still have to pack my case so I will be very busy. Good luck if you have your scan while I am away, I cant remember when it is. I wont be back on until a week Sunday so I hope you, J and bump have a good week. The weather has really changed here so hope you enjoy the bit of summer we are going to get. X

Hi Colleen I am glad you had a good time. My first 3 days at work have been ok, better than expected although no one really knows what to say to me which can be a bit awkward. I am doing full days from tomorrow as I feel ok to do this knowing I go to Spain for a week on Saturday morning anyway. CD28 for me, 6dpo and expecting af in approx 9 days time if I am back to normal. I have been getting loads of creamy cm and af type pains on and off so i have a feeling she may come earlier than expected. I cant wait for af to arrive and go so that we can start ttc again. I am feeling a lot more positive now.
Hope you gets lots of rest now. X

Hi Colleen I hope you get your house sorted and that you dont get too tired. Have a lovely time in Wales, I expect it will be a nice break for you as you have seemed to have had loads of family over recently and im sure you deserve a break now from cooking etc lol. You will have to tell me what you got up to when you return on Wed.
Im dreading work on Monday in a way as I know I will be so upset if people ask me things. My supervisor is going to tell them that I dont want to be asked anything and that I will talk about it if I want to or not if I dont. Only 8 days now until i go to Spain so that will be nice and I cant wait. On Monday I am only working 10am until 2pm as they said I can do less hours on my first day back. I know it is going to be a nightmare as I will have millions of emails and diary notes to sort out. Im sure it wont be as bad as I think when im actually there.
When is your next scan? I expect it will be very soon and you must let me know the sex if you do find out. X

Hope you are having a nice day. Just a quickie to say I hope you have a nice weekend and your first day back at work goes well. I am off to Wales tomorrow so won't be around until Wednesday. I will catch up with you then. Just going to tidy my house a bit as got DH's grandfather coming later and it is a mess as everything has been up in case of flood.

Lisa I am so pleased that you got a positive on your OPK. Hope this means the start of a new happy adventure for you. I will be sending you lots of babydust from next month.
We managed to survive the floods it seems. No longer on severe flood warning. The street behind us were not so lucky but they are directly on the river. I hope we can start to put the house back into some order now as it is a mess as everything had to be put up off the floor. Haven't got the energy for it today though as J was up a lot last night. Just trying to get some washing sorted so we have some stuff to take with us to my parents this weekend.

Just thought I would let you know that on CD22 I have finally got my positive opk and an egg symbol on my fertility monitor woohoo. I am so pleased that my body has started ovulating again so quickly. The 3 days light spotting I had last week I am counting as just that as I have got my positive ovulation test today. It looks like my cycles will be long again approx 33-36 days but that is just like before so I suppose it is usual for me. I dont think we will try this month as I go on hols 4th August and I want to make sure I have had my full 3 months worth of the higher dose folic acid. So waiting for next month when we will try again and that hopefully it wont take too long. Hope you are ok and that the flood waters are staying away. X

Oh no I hope the flood waters stay away, that would be dreadful. I live in the midlands so I have been lucky as there has been no flooding near us really. I expect you are glad that your DH comes home today so that you can get a bit of rest after your busy weekend. As far as your SIL there is always someone in the family who is not happy isnt there, I wouldnt worry about it. I am off out later this afternoon for lunch with some work friends so that should be nice. I cant believe how quickly my time off has gone by. I start back to work on Monday so I hope I can keep myself together so to speak as Im sure people will be asking me things. I am going to stay strong and look to the future now as after all my bad luck something good has got to happen sooner or later. Have a nice day. X

hope you are well and had a nice weekend. ours was busy with the party and everything. was a nice evening but a late night for joshua and we haven't really caught up all weekend. i am exhausted today. had to get up early and take mil to car rental place as they are off to see her mil on the isle of wight today and staying at her mother's tonight then i am taking them to airport tomorrow as i have to pick chris up anyway. he lands as they board so he will probably miss them.
we are also on flood warning. had a leaflet through last night preparing us. the landlord came around as well as he had been down to the river and said it was really high and last time it had flooded next door so he expects we will get hit. we put everything up last night but nothing so far. the radio said this morning they expect it to hit purley this evening but could be earlier if there is more rain. luckily bil is here to help out and i will go to grandmother in law if anything does happen. all very exciting.
sil was up to her usual on friday. after being a bit b***y on thursday, mil called her to see if she needed anything for the party and she was going on about how she felt ill all day and so did my niece and how it must be something she had eaten implying i had given her food poisoning. mil said to me after to ignore her as noone else was ill. she just hates the fact it wasn't cooked by her and everyone enjoyed it.
anyway hope you are o.k. i am off to dentist this afternoon so bil has j for an hour or so. xxxx

Hope you have a nice weekend with your mil and that everyone enjoys your huge lasagne. I dont know where you find all your energy from. Dh is off tomorrow so we will go out for the day. I have started spotting slight today cd15 so looks like my body is messed up again. Oh well I must keep looking forward to the future and hope for the best. I have decided to get my hair highlighted next Wed before I start back to work. Have a nice day X

Well busy day so far. Had to take DH to airport this morning at 7am as he is off to America. Then went straight to toddlers for the last session. Then we washed the car and cleaned inside as it was a tip. Had lunch, went to tescos and have just made a huge lasagne which I hope is big enough for the 11 I have coming for dinner tomorrow night. I am exhausted and still have to clean house ready for MIL tomorrow and do my ironing. Just having a quick sit down and an ice pop LOL.
Got a pizza in the oven so will have that before doing the ironing.

Hi colleen I dont know if my cycle is back to normal yet as I have only had one af at 6 weeks after giving birth. I am currently on CD13 and hoping that I do start ovulating again this cycle, nothing so far but i used to ov about cd19 before I got preg due to my longer cycles. I saw the consultant for the last time this morning and everything with the chromosome tests have come back fine which is good news so the risk of future pregnancies is approx 3% of it happening again which is what we were originally told. We go to Spain on our hols 2 weeks next Sat and fly on the 4th August in the morning and I cant wait. Hope you manage to find a dress soon. Going to have a relaxing day today and do nothing really. Hope you have a good day too. X

Hi Colleen I hope you find a nice dress for your grandma in laws birthday. It seems that everyone is having birthdays in your family recently. I still dont know what to get my brother for his 21st but I want to get something he can keep. Had a lovely day yesterday with dh, we went shopping and out for lunch. I have only got 2 weeks left off work now but I have decided to go back then, they are being really good with me and when I do go back I go for half days for the first week so I dont get too stressed and tired. I have loads of housework to do today so I better get started. Have a nice weekend with just you and J, it will seem strange for you after having lots of family around recently. X

We have had a quiet day doing jigsaws. Joshua also got to have an hour in the garden before it got too windy and cold.
BIL is off to his stepsister's tonight til Sunday and they will take him out to celebrate his 21st properly. So I will be alone for next few days. Going to pop int mothercare town tomorrow morning and see if I can find a cheap dress for grandmother in law's 70th next weekend. Then going to go and see her as she left her camera here yesterday.

I did have a busy afternoon with everyone. Had a little champagne but it just gave me a headache so not really that nice.
Got my spina bifida results today and it said low risk. ( sorry that sounds a bit crass after what you have just been through).

Hi Colleen Shrek 3 was really good, it was so funny you will have to go to see it if you get the chance. Cd 8 for me today and I have decided to start using my Personna monitor again to check my cycle goes back to normal. Hoping to see the egg symbol on it this cycle, that would be great so that next month after our hols we can ttc again. I keep having dreams at the moment about when Alexander was born, I dont know why. Maybe it is from the guilt I feel about ttc again so soon but I want a baby so much but no one would ever replace him. We are waiting for a new red rose to come out on his tree so we can take it to the crematorium for him. I am going to my mums later today for lunch and then to see my two nephews which will be nice. My dh is off work tomorrow as well so if the weather is nice we are going out for the day. I expect you will be bust today too as it is your Bils 21st. Have a lovely time. X
