Hi Lisa. Not done much cleaning today as had to take DH to airport and do shopping. BIL has gone to see his other brother for the afternoon and who knows when he will be back. Hope he remembers that he said he wanted dinner as I got something in for us both and won't be happy if he has dinner with them esp without telling me.
I have just had a quick hoover around and picked up the big mess. Will tidy more tomorrow.
Glad your cycle seems to be going back to normal. Here's hoping you get a normal AF at the end.
Enjoy Shrek 3. Let me know if it is any good.

Hi Colleen I hope everything goes ok with your Bils 21st birthday. It is also my brothers 21st at the end of August as well and I have no idea what to buy him. I have never heard of a dentist toy to try to get children to open their mouths so good luck with finding one. Hope you are feeling a bit less tired today. Im on cd7 now and so far everything seems to be ok, I just hope I get my next period as normal now. Do you have the date of your next scan yet? Im going to the cinema later to see Shrek the Third so that should be good. Better get some cleaning done and I expect you have done all of yours now. X

Hope you had a nice meal out. J's dentist trip was a bit of a disaster as he wouldn't open his mouth but she said that will come with time. Got to try and find him a dentist toy set to try and promote him opening his mouth. No idea where I will get one of those.
Been feeling quite dizzy today so been taking it easy. My house needs a good clean so will have to do that tomorrow as got grnadparents coming over on thursday for BIL's 21st. They are bringing him a surprise cake from MIL as she isn't coming to visit from America til next week. Should be nice. They are also bringing some champagne but not sure if I will have any or not.

I hope J is ok at the dentist bless him, he wont be scared though like me as it is his first visit lol so he wont know what to expect. It seems like you have had a busy few weeks and your DH is working away a lot as well. When everyone has gone in a few weeks time your home will feel so empty to what you have been used to recently. I cant believe you have had another scare, I am glad everything is ok so maybe it is a girl like people think. How many weeks are you now and when do you have all your blood tests? I got a letter from the hospital today and I have my final appointment with the consultant where I will get my full amnio report results and she will discuss the risk of any future pregnancies. I know I will be classed as high risk in the future but I have been taking my higher dose folic acid tablets now for over a month and I pray that nothing else has been found. If there is nothing else then my risk is about 3% which may seem high to some people but I think of it being a 97% chance of a healthy baby. I will keep ypu updated with the outcome. On a different subject myself and dh have spent a fortune at the weekend on new solid oak bedroom furniture, we have been looking for some for so long and had ended up buying some cheap ones from Ikea about 18 months ago to last us until we found some. It is being delivered a week on Wed so I am so excited about it. My house will be finally finished after that and fully furnished with what I wanted. I will never move again now as we extended our house and have re designed it all to what we want. So lets hope I get preg soon after to finish everything off. Just going to town now to pay some bills and then off out for tea with DH when he finished work. Have a nice day X

Glad the funeral went ok and that your period is back. I really hope things go back to normal for you and that it won't be long til you are pg again. Glad your holiday is soon as you deserve a break away from it all.
We had another scare last week as I went to see midwife on Thurs and she couldn't find a heartbeat so I had to go up the hospital where they did eventually find one. They would have done a scan otherwise. Gave me a real fright and DH was in Silverstone so couldn't get back. Luckily his grandmother came with me so I had some support. Eevryone has decided it is def a girl causing so much trouble before it is born. We'll see.
Had my parents here this weekend overnight then Saturday we had a dinner for BIL's 21st at a nice italian. So been very busy. It is BIL's 21st on Thursday but DH isn't here so we celebrated early. His grandmother is getting hima cake on thurs as a surprise so that will be nice. Then MIL is coming next week for 5 days so hectic time all round. DH misses it all as he is off to Germany on Wed then home overnight on Monday before going off to America on Tuesday. Fun fun.
Right I best go and get dressed. Got to take J to the dentist today for his first ever visit.

Hi Colleen I hope you, J and baby are doing ok. Thanks for the candle and hugs. It was a difficult day and the service was nice. Well my first af arrived on Thursday morning so it was exactly 6 weeks to the day and it seems to be quite normal sorry tmi., so hopefully my next one will arrive in the next 28 to 35 days. I am hoping my cycles go back to the usual 28 days like they were before my first mmc. and not the 35 days days as they did afterwards. Less than 4 weeks now until we go to Spain and we are both looking forward to it. I am feeling much better in myself now and will be ready for work again in 3 weeks time . We have decided that we are going to start ttc again after my next af so that should be in mid August time. You must let me know if you find out the sex of your baby at the next scan. I expect it wont be that long now and that you are getting excited. Its a lovely sunny day here again today so I will make the most of it and sit in the garden. Hope you have a nice day X

Hi Colleen I hope you managed to find J some new shoes. Do your parents live a long way from you? Im lucky in some ways as mine only live about 15 mins drive away. I am going to badminton tonight which will be good as I am trying to get fit again. I am dreading Thursday as it is Alexanders funeral at 9.15am and the following Tuesday at 10.00am we scatter his ashes which will be so sad but as time goes by I am getting stronger again. On a more positive note it is not long until our hols now and i think I will get my hair highlighted again before we go. I was going to get it done in Feb but then I found out I was preg so didnt bother. I sleep and eat normally now and hope to ttc again in approx 8 weeks time. X

HI Lisa. Hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was ok. DH came home yesterday and we had a nice day with lunch at a tapa restaurant in Windsor and then back here to have coffee and cake with his grandparents. My cakes seemed to go down ok so at least that is something. Just taken DH to work and he is in London for a conference now til Wed then he is off on Thurs to Silverstone for the day. But he has a long weekend ( fri-Sun) unfortunately my parents are here but oh well.
Just going to head into town to get j some new shoes. His feet are growing so fast.

I hope you and J have a nice time swimming. I am ok thanks but I hope your dizziness gets better soon. I am off into town today with my mum to do some shopping. The weather is quite nice here which makes a change and that makes me feel a bit better too. I keep doing my ov tests and nothing so far but I am also still waiting for my first af, it is 5 weeks today since I gave birth to Alexander. My holiday tickets and details arrived in the post yesterday which cheered me up. It is only 5 weeks on Saturday until I go so not long really. I cant believe June is nearly over, I dont know where it has gone lol but I hope our summer arrives soon. I hope you do get some rest later on if BIL looks after J for you. One of my DH best friends wife is due to give birth tomorrow but I dont think am up to seeing the baby when it is born yet. Have a nice day x

How are you? Hope you are well. I am ok except for a bit of dizziness still. Going to take Joshua swimming this morning then might get BIL to take him for an hour while I have a lie down as didn't sleep so great last night.

Just taken Chris to airport AGAIN!. He is off to Holland til Sunday. Was only home for a day this time. I hate this time of year.
Been feeling really dizzy at the mo. Not a good sign as I had this all the way to the end with Joshua and it was horrible. Plus it is a symptom people can't see so they always make you feel like you are making it up for sympathy. Hoping it is a mixture of lack of sleep and coffee at the mo ( although I have only had one coffee!!).
Joshua is being a pain today. Don't think Chris going again has helped. He has been really whingy or naughty. Hopefully BIL coming this evening will help with that.
Right best go and change his dirty bum. xxxxx

Hi Colleen its not long now until your next midwife appointment where you will hear the heartbeat. My ovulation tests are getting really faint now so it either looks like no ovulation this cycle or a really long wait until my first af after Alexanders birth. I just hope it has arrived and gone by the time I go on my hols on 4th August. I am going out later this afternoon with some work friends for dinner so that should be nice. I will be my first time out since everything happened so it should cheer me up and it will be good to catch up on all the gossip. Hope you are having a good day today and I hope J is being good for you. X

Hi Colleen I hope you are having a nice weekend too. I have had a good one as DH has been off work for the last 2 days with me as well. It was lovely looking after my two nephews as I dont see them that often really. I finally stopped bleeding 2 days ago and I have had nothing since so it looks like it is finally over yay. I also did an ovulation test this afternoon which seems to be getting darker so hopefully I should ov soon. I think it is normal to ov approx 4 to 6 weeks after giving birth so we are going to ttc again from Monday as then I will have had my full months worth of the higher dose folic acid tablets which I needed. I also have to take them until I am 3 months pregnant. I am feeling so much better now as you can probably tell. As the time goes on it gets easier but obviously we will never forget Alexander. The only day I dread now is the funeral in July, after that it wont be long until I am back at work and back in to my ttc mode again. I have a feeling that it wont take me as long to get pregnant this time. Have a nice evening. X

Just a quickie to say good morning and hope you had a nice day with your nephews yesterday. Glad you have been feeling a bit happier. Hope the bleeding stops soon.
I saw doc yesterday about my pains and she said it is usually ok if both sides. They are doing a urine test to check I haven't got an infection. I got to hear the heartbeat yesterday which has calmed me down a bit. Got to go and see my midwife on 5th so not long now.

Its lovely here today and I am looking after my 2 nephews later who are 4 & 2 yrs old so that will be nice, we can play in the garden. Since yesterday I can honestly say I am starting to feel better about things. Myself and dh were even laughing & joking last night which seemed a bit strange at first. I just wish my spotting would stop now as it is driving me insane as it is 4 weeks today. Glad you are ok, its a shame about your dh not being at your 20 weeks scan but at least he will be at the consultant apt with you like you said. Does it feel like your pregnancy is flying by or going slow? When I got to your point in my last preg it felt as it was flying by. I expect you have got a bump now, I loved having my bump. and hope to have one again very soon. I have got loads of cleaning to do this morning before the boys come so I best get started. Hope you have a good day. X

Well taken DH to his office so he can go off to Donnington. Cleaned the house for my parents and am not knackered. Think I will have a sit down for a bit while j plays in the garden. How are you feeling?
Dh informed me this morning that he won't be here for my 20 week scan. So annoying. But he will be in Czech republic. Don't want to change it either as I could end up with a later one and I don't want to wait any longer. He will come with me to see the consultant though so at least he will have a say in the birth.
