Jack got weighed today and he is 5lb 10 now which we are pleased about. I am so tired at the moment as he is wanting to feed every 2 to 4 hours. He is 6 weeks old on Saturday which I cant believe. I am hoping that he starts to sleep more at night soon as the tiredness is getting to me now. He still shouldnt be here yet as my due date was the 24th August. My dh had his paternity leave when we were in hospital so he is at work now. He will probably put some holidays in soon though.
Glad all is ok with you and the boys. Hope your dh isnt away too long. Better go as Jack is waking up again. XX

Hi colleen hope you having a nice time in Wales, the weather is lovely here but I dont get to see much of it with being in hospital visiting Jack. He is really getting in to breast feeding now so I have got to stop in hospital with him over night for the next few days so he can try it full time. Once he has established that he will be allowed home so fingers crossed. XX

Hi colleen sorry i havent posted much recently but it is so difficult to find any time with being at the hospital nicu unit with Jack most of the day. I made an error in my last post, he weighed 4lb 1 at birth and is putting on good weight now as he was 4lb 5 last time he got weighed earlier in the week. He is coming along really well now and is in a normal cot now. He feeds straight from my breast usually twice in the day which is good as most premature babies dont get their sucking reflexes until about 37 to 38 weeks gestation and Jack is only 35 weeks gestation but is nearly 3 weeks old now. I will get my hubby to post some photos on here later as when I try it says the file is too big.
Hope you and the boys are well. I expect J likes to play outside a lot now we have finally got some nice sunny weather. I bet Z is getting a big boy now too. Have a nice day XX

Hope you are ok too hun. Make sure you take it easy as I know how hard a c-section is on you. Get loads of rest when you can. I bet being bale to breastfeed him was an amazing experience for you after everything you have been through. I am truely over the moon for you. xxxx

Hi Colleen sorry I havent posted but so much has happened recently. I got rushed in to hospital with severe pre-eclampsia and had to have my baby by emergency c-section. Baby Jack David Cook was born on the 5th July at 5.38pm weighing 5lb 1. He is doing really well in the hospital Nicu baby unit. He is still in an incubator but he is getting stronger everyday. He even had a go yesterday at sucking straight from the nipple. I will update you more later when I have more time. XXX I will also put some pictures on. I hope you and your boys are ok too. XXX

Hi Lisa.
How are you? How is the pg going? Bump ok? Hope everything is going well. When do you start maternity leave? Bet you can't wait.
Not much happening here. J had his first school trip today which he loved. Didn't bat an eyelid when he went unlike the other kids. LOL.
Anyway got my parents arriving later this evening as on their way back from Greece. Be nice to see them.

Hi. Sorry not been on for a while. Had a busy week last week with DH's birthday. We just went out for lunch and then came back and had cake with his grandparents in the end. Was nice anyway. Then he took Friday off last week so I could go for my post natal treatment his colleague got me as I have been trying for 6months. Was a lovely all over body massage. Really relaxing and something I would def recommend. Can be pre or post natal but I personally prefer post natal. Then had a lovely weekend. But since Sunday Zachary has been off as he is teething and has been producing millions of dirty nappies and therfore has bad nappy rash at mo. Plus his teeth are really hurting him so is quite whingy at mo. Has been trying to crawl for last hour - has got forward a few steps then whinges so I pick him up, but he wants to be down again. He hasn't worked out to move his arms as well. Is giving me big slobbery kisses now.
How are you doing? Not long left now... When do you finish work? Do you have anymore scans?
Right best sort J out. He has an infection in his toe so have been up docs with him today.

Hi Colleen I hope you have managed to find something for your dh 30th birthday. When is he 30 and do you have anything special planned like a meal out? The photos of J & Z on Facebook are lovely, cant believe how much bigger they both are compared to the other photos on here.
I have 8 weeks left as I am officially 32 weeks pregnant today. i see the midwife on tuesday again and I know Jack is still breech and measuring bigger than dates so i dont know what will happen and if they will try to turn him in a few weeks time? On the countdown from work now and I have 3 weeks and 2 days left. I wish I had asked to start mat leave earlier as by Friday afternoon im so tired and my feet are so swollen. Im sure the time will quickly fly by, I hope lol. I have also packed my hospital/labour bag today and putting all of Jacks little clothes in has made me realise that I dont have long to go now. It is finally starting to feel real and that I am going to have a lovely baby boy very soon. I also start my parentcraft classes at the hospital on wed, they do 3 sessions of 2 hours with a hospital tour so looking forward to that. A lot of people have said it isnt really that good but as its my first baby im going anyway.
Have a nice weekend. XXX

Hi Lisa.
Hope you are well and bump is well too. How are things going your end? How long do you have left now? Must be exciting. Have you done much shopping yet?
Been to town today to get Joshua new shoes. Quite lucky as Clarks had a sale on so got them for 12 pounds so quite pleased with that. Was going to buy him two pairs at that price but they only had one in his size so will have to look in another shop I think. He is also at an awkward size again of 8.5 and has wide feet so I can't even get him some of these novelty ones. Also went to look for stuff for DH's 30th next week but they boys weren't very helpful so I got him some books but nothing exciting. Think I will get him a new shirt or sthg to go with it. It is so easy for men being able to buy jewellery. But I can't find any special keepsake as the only thing he needs is a wallet and he asked his grandmother for that.
Anyway the Z is getting whingey. Not updated photos on here as it takes so long. I have put some on facebook if you want to have a look. I think you can just click on this link

Hi Colleen good to hear that that you all had a nice fathers day and that your dh was home for it as well. I got my dh a daddy to be card and a mug with my 20 week scan picture on.
My 4D scan was fantastic and I would recommend having one to anyone. I got 62 photos in total on a CDRom and a 10 minute DVD of Jack in the womb. He is definately a boy as I have a picture of his boy bits lol. My scan in total was about 40 minutes long and I cant believe how clear the pics were. He has my dh nose and lips and even has chubby cheeks. They commented on that he is a big baby for my 30+2 weeks. I have uploaded a few of the pics in to my photo section on bounty if you want a peek.
Better get ready for work now or I will be late. have a nice day XX

Hope your scan goes well. Enjoy it. as for the weight thing try not to worry too much- they told me Z would be a huge baby and over 9lbs but although he weighed 8lb9 which is slightly over average he wasn't that big at all. Don't think they are that acurate.
Well had a lovely father's day here. We had a nice cooked brekkie, fed the ducks, then prepared a lovely dinner. It was really nice esp as DH is working so many weekends at mo. Right best go and take J to school. Have a nice day/ xxx

Hi Colleen it seems like you and J did have a busy day with all that baking. You will have to put some up to date pictures of Z in your photo profile as I expect he has grown loads and looks different now to the ones in there. Im starting to feel so tired now especially when the weather is so warm. I was really ready for the weekend after being at work all week. I have 5 weeks and 2 days left at work before my maternity leave starts and I cant wait. The midwife appointment went ok but I am measuring really big and I am above above the top line on my growth chart. If he carries on growing like he is and I carry him to term he will be nearly 10lbs lol. Im hoping his growth slows down a bit or maybe I have a lot of water as well. Im also thinking about getting one of those 4d scans in the next week or so. Im 30 weeks tomorrow and I want to see what his features look like now, havent decided what to do yet.
Hope you are having a nice weekend. XX
