I have been lucky as my ds, 7 1/2 months, loves having his teeth cleaned. He was unsure at first but I started as soon as his first tooth appeared. I used to brush my teeth and he would watch then i would say 'your turn' and brush his tooth and his gums. After a few days brushing morn and night he now opens his mouth for me. He does tend to suck the brush but I will let him hold it once I have finished and he chews on it etc x

    Hi

my lo is 15.5mths old and hates having his teeth brushed...he always has done, but a dental nurse friend of mine said to keep at it whether he cries or not as he's got to get used to it!

He is gradually getting better x

im quite lucky as my son whos eight mths now has always liked his teeth brushed, he enjoys sucking brush also!! he got his first tooth at 6mths so have been doing it since then.  i put a mirror in front of him and sit him on my lap and pull funny faces or sing songs to him, he loves it.

Hiya,  Just wondered if anyone has tips on how to clean their lo's teeth?  Sounds silly but my lo is 7months has 2 teeth and hates having them cleaning.  Is this usual?  Or am I just a bad brusher???  If I give her the brush she tends either stick it in her eye (followed by crying) or drop it!
