No Melinda didn't die, she just stop breathing for a bit and saw her dad.  You must have only watched the E4 ones it then moved to Living

I think that I have only seen the first series so am really confused by this thread, the last episode that I saw was when Andrea (is that her name, friend from the shop) realised that she was dead.  Is melinda now dead as well?

I think Gabriel is Melindas half brother (same dad) thats why her mum didn't say anything plus her mum doesn't acknowledge seeing ghosts and want melinda to stop.  Melinda never met her half brother til last series - when she died her father said she has a brother.  She met him when she crossing a ghost over or something.  Anyway I think his mum died and he was brought up in a mental institue because he said he sees ghosts - Melinda has sympathy for him because she thinks it could easily have been her that ended up like that but she has her gran to help her.

The souls under the shop are from the old village which was burried and Grandview was built on top.  I think there were more souls down there in last weeks episode because Gabriel had lead them there to stop them from crossing over ???

Anyway not 100% clear on all the details but thats the general gist.

Her mum isn't gabriel's mum.  Not sure if her mum even knew about Gabriel.

Gabriel is gathering spirits, so the people down below in the tunnels are those from the original town plus more spirits that Gabriel has gathered.

All has not yet been revealed though so lets hope the end of season 3 and then season 4 give some answers.

i love ghost whisperer but havent seen hardly any of season 3 (is it me or is gw getting scarier as the seasons continue) coz i missed a bit in the middle of season 2.  i saw when she died and saw her dad who told her she had a brother but when she asks her mum she seems to deny any knowledge of this.

my question is why didnt her mum just tell her about gabriel when she asked?

Gabriel is Melinda's bother. I think she only found out about him in the last series when she died or something. I can't really remember though so don't quote me!

Not sure about the voices but i know they belong to the people who died before the new town was built on them...not sure why we never heard them before. But i've miseed a few episodes randomly so we might have.

I have forgotten half the plot from the last series so if anyone can answer a few questions I would be grateful

1 - That Gabriel bloke, is he a person or a ghost, and is he Melindas brother?  If so, how come she never mentions him when she remembers her childhood?

2 - Those souls in her basement, is that a new thing as I dont remember them from last series.

The E4 ones are from old series, but the one on lining tonight is the new series - it is the repeat of Tuesdays episode. hth

I have been on hols for a couple of weeks and see that GW is on E4 this week and then tonight on Living.  Does anyone know if either are the new series?  And have I missed any episodes?
