DH and I were arguing over this because he thought Rachel was too dull to win (but he didn't even really watch BB this year) and my point was that although you need the big characters to make it an interesting few weeks but that doesn't mean that the most entertaining person has to win!  I voted 3 times for Rachel because she was the least offensive housemate this year and the most misunderstood.  Just because she didn't b**ch and backstab doesn't mean she didn't have opinions - she just had the good manners and sense to recognise that you don't have to share your opinions with everyone else.  Also, I think she showed a lot of strength of character, especially when she stood up to Rex.

i was glad she won too, she was the most normal housemate in there, just because she didnt b***, cause rows and was stupid all the time doesnt mean she shouldnt have won, i liked her from day one and did all the way through although people thought i was mad liking her...

why should it always be the loud, show offs that wins, who cares if she sat on the fence, i rather more housemates were like her than the fame hungry ones... there were a few others i liked, i liked rex but he didnt need to win, already loaded lol, i liked stuart but he didnt cope very well in the house... i think rachel put up with alot of them being so mean and nasty to her... did anyone else notice that only a couple of housemates seem please for her to win, even davina didnt seem as happy for her to win as she has been with other housemates in the past...

i agree wanted her to win , i thought she was opionated but was ignored because she didnt shout and try to make others take on her opinions

i agree also, i was shocked she won but im glad she did, and how people can say she sat on the fence yes she did, but can ppl remember with the whole chips n bex n alec thingy she shood up and had her say and opinion but she got shot down so after she probs thought id not gonna get involved cuz it only causes arguments n hurts ppl, n thts wot she sed is the reason she never

i agree! i liked rachel think she deserved to win for putting up with everyone being so mean to her! Think i woulda prefered sara to win as she was funnier but rachel was a genuinely nice person.

i disagree with most people that say shes boring and didnt deserve to win. ok she was a bit dull, none of the big issues revolved around her but i can say she was the only realistic housemate anyone could relate too. all of the others where fame hungry, evil, manipulative, backstabbing or plain greedy.

rex; nice overall, but he doesnt need the cash and a bit of an idiot sometimes

sara; nice aussie, but annoying.

mikey; i wouldnt have mind him winning he was nice.

rachel was definitely down to earth, a nice person overall. and the bad guy/gal never wins. even kat was a farce and it came out at the end.

she even said she would get a car that worked and pay of her student debts, thats so what every girl would do which is at her age!!!! shes deserved the money!! and to win!

(i must be seriously bored writing all that phewww loll)
