Dont think you were supposed to think about that bit alibali6, lol.    But very good point, labour without pain relief....i'd have been dragging Darcy back through that door with me to our times, lol.

Thought it was a great prog, think Jemina Rooper (amanda price) is great actress, seen her in few things.

Would be good if they made Elizabeths story, that could be a possible 2nd/spin-off series.

I loved it, love a good happy romantic ending, did think if I was in that situation would I miss things from my time, but she'd been in that time for long enough to get used to it, and for god sake it was Mr Darcy!!!

loved it! Perfect ending as far as I am concerned. Although I dont think she has considered the realities of living in those times... medical care, childbirth, etc, but when you are in love.........!

Wonderful ending....I nearly snogged Darcy myself...lol!!

I wish it hadn't ended though, the best thing on TV for ages!!

I've never been in to the Costume Drama's and never read Jane Austin....I am half way through my Lesley Pearce book, then reading Pride and Prejudice.

Did anyone notice that Elizabeth Bennet was Tess from Tess of the D'Urbervilles?

That would be great to see how Elizabeth is doing on the other side of that door. This week I am banning dh from being in the same room when its on as he cant be trusted to shut up and flicks thru channel at the break, extremely irritating!

This is just so good, I had my heart set on her and Darcy too, but like previously said, she is soiled goods so not acceptable in those days.....my goodness Darcy wouldn't get anywhere in todays world....lol!!

I would love a series after to show Jane in the modern world and how she coped on the other side of the door.

I'm going miss it this week so really hoping DP remember show to record it or itv catchup is working properly...

The series (according to the telegragh)  has apparntley reduced swearing though in women 20-30yrs old, and better conversation...lol!!....people are paid to do these stats....if'd they;d inverviewed me I'd have told them to f*&^ off....lol!!!

Darcy didn't want to marry Amanda because she'd been with other men....which is a shame cuz i think they're fab together!

I'm loving it. I love anything Jane Austiny so i knew i would. And yes, she's totally ruining things but its hardly her fault, i blame it all on Elizabeth!
