bianca's boyfriend, who is played by actor chris coghill, will soon tire of long-time victim whitney dean (played by shona mcgarty), reports the daily star.
so it seems he sets his sights on lauren branning, who is played by actress madeline duggan, 14.
however, the character does not manage to attack lauren in the soap.
the star quotes chris as saying: "unfortunately people like tony do exist. this story happens and it's depressingly common."
the tony and whitney storyline has already prompted complaints to the bbc and broadcasting regulator ofcom.
however, earlier this week a bbc spokeswoman said the child abuse storyline had been created in association with the nspcc and in accordance with bbc editorial policy.
