I would prefer Alec but he is a nasty piece of work . . .

At first i thought Alec was way hot, but after the 'incident' i was so disgusted by him i think he's repulsive now. So for me it has to be Angel, he's lovely

I like Tess too she comes across as being really sweet. I should read the book again too. Who do u think is better looking thi, alec or angel?

I am really enjoying this series. I like Tess and hate that Alec guy so that means the quality of acting must be good, if at least from them.

I am really enjoying it - like you I studied it at A level but don't usually watch period dramas but really liked the book.  I thought there were some differences but as it is 16 years since I read it I didn't know whether I had just forgotten bits!  Maybe I should read it again

Just wondered if anyone else was watching this 4 part drama? Its not usually my sort of thing but studied it at eng a level so wanted to see it. I think its a bit diff from the book tho.
